It's one of the best movies they did after the original cast left. Explains some of what happens in part 7.

its been 10 years and he has been in a coma untill tonight he returns to kill more people and go after his niece jamie

He's Back--The Man Behind The Mask!
Michael Myers had been absent for quite a while, until Trancas Films decided to put him on the comeback trail in 1988. He has not lost his touch. Now he's stalking his neice, with Dr. Loomis doggedly in pursuit. Nifty fun, and it's good to see Donald Pleasance in full Ahab mode again.
