Halloween [Collector's Edition] [UHD]

1 uhd, 2 blu-rays, different version of the movie, tons of bonus features. Definitely the way to go if you want the ultimate home version of this film.

The biggest improvement I noticed is the color grading. The colors are warmer and enhanced without drawing attention. It has a very natural look to it. Watching 4K transfers of older films I've learned the best ones are the ones that have subtle enhancements while still maintaining the aesthetics of the original film. The images are cleaner but aren't trying to mimic the crisp images we're accustomed to nowadays. Colors are more prominent without lookin oversaturated. Blacks are blacker but without losing details. It really is like looking at an old film with new eyes.

To me, it is. First of all it comes in a very thick and sturdy cardboard sleeve and looks great. I still prefer the original poster from the movie. The film itself has a stellar video transfer and the sound is amazing. I listened to it using headphones and the score especially sounded just incredible. But even without headphones it was a huge improvement. If you are a fan of this film you have to get this.

I am quite happy with the product I ordered. It is of a similar quality to other releases in the same format.

Bought this and added it to my 10 disc Halloween Collection. Best the movies ever looked and a step up from the version previously released by Scream Factory in the set

This is a horror classic and probably the best it will ever look on physical media. It came in the original slip box from Scream Factory. Highly recommend if you don't own a copy of the movie.

The slip cover was a bit banged up but the shipping and communication was solid

The price was decent, but not much better than what I'd found on other sites. Communication about my order is very lacking and confusing. It initially looked like this would be delivered the day after I ordered it, but then about midway through the day (the day I was expecting it to be delivered) I realized it was talking about the other item in my order. For the rest of that day there was no update to delivery of this item. Finally about 10PM it showed as being delayed with no explanation about why it's delayed or an ETA for delivery. There should have been clear communication from when my order was placed as far as when each item in my order would be delivered.

What I liked was the picture and sound quality they are both excellent as far as I'm concerned this is the definitive Halloween 4K as the lionsgate books completely desaturated in comparison I didn't notice a lot in the sharpness of the picture but I noticed a lot in the color saturation I also thought the sound was better on this version as well so it is a definite upgrade from the Lionsgate 4K What I didn't like was I paid premium price without the hard shell slipcover that matches all the other Halloween movies that were released by Shout Factory. When this came to me without a hard slipcover It got immediately returned I had to pay almost $60 to get the real version of this movie instead of the cheaper version. Pretty disgusted at Shout Factory for this. This is a dumb-down version for a premium price and I'm not going to buy this movie without that slip. so to any potential buyers thinking that this is going to come with that really nice slipcover it will not apparently Shout Factory stopped making them so now we get worst versions at least there's eBay if you want to pay the extra money that people are scalping them for now. I'm starting to get tired of this practice and to be honest with you I'm starting to wonder whether or not I should stop collecting movies because I keep getting ripped off either with double dips or premium versions being sold without slipcovers. As a collector this matters for everyone else that doesn't care this is a fantastic release. Hope this saves people money
