i got my monies worth out of this item. very well made. i know i will be using it for my Christmas light too.

My wife had seen the Perfect Storm on the internet and I looked for it on Walmart and ordered throught them. It works great! The effects cd is done well and the unit has a intensity knob that allows you control the brightness of the lighting effect. One coulple looked up in the sky because it's so life like.

Gave a 4* because CD that came with it was broken.

This item works great and is a excellent addition to our Halloween decorations. It gives a great effect. I counted off one star for the lack of instructions that came with it. Though its pretty self explanatory how it works there is an input option on the front but no information on what it does. also its hard to get the sensitivity right so that noises you don't want to light everything up won't. It is still great and we love it.

I have several acquaintances who use this device and have had very good experiences with it. So I ordered without hesitation. Not an in-store stock item so had to use site-to-store to purchase. Process went smoothly, as expected. Received the item, took home, connected it all up, didn't work at all. Tried several different troubleshooting techniques (I'm an I.T. guy, so I'm pretty thorough and experienced with troubleshooting), such as different light bulbs connected to device, different sensitivity levels, different audio that should have triggered the bulb flashing. Nothing. Comes with only a 1-page instruction brochure, with no contact info to help with FAQ or support for the device. Returned to Wal-Mart and had to re-order the device. Got 2nd device in, EXACT SAME PROBLEM. Perhaps the Wal-Mart warehouse these ship from has defective lot of product. I just returned again and ordered from another online store, for $15 less! Should be receiving that shipment in a couple of days and will hopefully have better results from another batch of this product. If not, I will be returning it and not purchasing another one. Hopefully 3rd time's the charm.

Worked fine on day one. Started it up on the 2nd day and the mic stopped working. Had to return it, will not purchase another.
