I love Halo, been playing it for 25 years and I still suck at it.
Greatest Halo game of its time but be aware, you need to download the campaign. The disk is just the game launcher. requires internet to download the game.
My son does not own a computer. He is a huge Video Gamer and Anime watcher. He had wanted the new X Box x I think not the S and could never find it. While shopping for a new small heater at Walmoart (my 30 year ols one finally died) he was thrilled to find The X Box X, then extra thrilled that he saved $149.99) I told him I had seen it on line for that price duriong a flash sale. I have order so much for him recently, he said if not in the stoe then order it. It was marked $499.99, I said its cheaper on line. He said I do not care I want tit now, but It comes with no game. (His old X box he gave toa friends child, they were poor and no new stuff came out for years-this was over 9 years ago) He had Ninetendo Swith and O;d and New Play Stations ( got both on line cheaper than any store from Playstation directly the Newest play station abywhere for years were $1000.00 up) Play Station sold it onlu one Line for $500.00 plus the version he wanted) Well they only had one game at Wlmart he liked, so he bought it too. Later that night back on the computer trying to find a Christmas present for my best friend I saw an X Box game 65% off so I showed it to him and he said, yes I want it order it. He is a grown man, he usues a computer at work, but I have three, so buy one. I am 71 and he is 44. I used to play video games with my husband then my lids amd always one, now due to severe osteo arthritis, I haave problem doing many things, I played my last video game in 2004. I cannot feel my hands. I have had 5 hand surgeries, two neck surgeries, my entire back is messed up since High school. The emergebcy surgey was set in 2009. The day before the surgery my insurance kicked him off of my provider list, the next neuro surgeon I could find , refused back surgery, not good enough so did my neck, Botched that so was numb for 6 years. Finally he fixed my neck then two months wants to fix my back. I said too soon. I just had my 6th cancer surgery. I am not good at much any more, been disabled 30 years now, but I can find anything on my computers. So I appreciate Walmart for having most everything We want at great prices, free shipping and always in perfect condition. My son loves both games. That is all I know and that is all I care about. If he is happy, so am I. He paid me , as always. Plus, he is a Mster Certified Mechanic and I get parts at a discount and he does all work for free. So what mom would not return the favor for such a nice son. He also spennt all of his vacation days caring for me. My husband never did anything, I left him, but we are still married, my daughter, same thing, she talks to me on occason, but does nothing for me. So I love them all but I only do special things for my loving son, because he is the only one who truely cares about me. So if need something and not in Walmart go online they have tons of stuff from all over the world, great prices, great service and alsway in great shape and time. I only order from Walmart because the best.
Fantastic Game! Always loved the Halo Game series. Great Campaign and storyline. Multiplayer is tons of fun as well. One of my favorite games. Only thing I do not care for is the advertising and marketing on multiplayer especially when you have purchased the game. But overall definitely worth picking up!
The price could always be better...
graphics and controls are very good but the storyline is not that good. this seems more geared towards online PVP with little thought for the campaign.
It works well and was brand new and even arrived sooner than estimated, however I was a bit disappointed since I didn’t get the same as the image on the listing showed. I was expecting to get the North American version with the ESRB rating tag on the front cover as the image in the listing shows but I instead go apparently the German version with their own rating system branding on the front cover. It takes up significantly more space on the cover and since I was mainly buying this for the physical game and case itself for my collection and since I am buying it from within North America I was slightly disappointed to get it and see that it was not what I expected. It sounds menial but I just wasnt expecting this. If I had known this was what I’d get I would rather have looked on eBay and found one where the seller has a photo of the exact item they’re shipping on the listing.
This was an ultimate nightmare to receive. They don't tell you when you order that this vendor requires you to be home when it's delivered. It took 4 days and several calls to find out that the box was held at the FedEx facility. No one at WalMart.com speaks English and has no idea how to help you. FedEx cannot help you because the vendor sets the rules for delivery.
Basically checking your map all the time with a poor storyline. Guns are weaker and don’t hold a lot of ammo in the game. Vehicles are a little difficult to control. All the other halo games before we’re a hell of a lot better. I just feel like it’s very low budget and there wasn’t much thought put into this game. This game was way overhyped and rushed to be put out so Microsoft can cash out on the hopes of continued supporters of the halo games.
Okay I want to start by saying I love the game play. Its everything I had hoped it would be. But there is a HUGE FLAW with the game. That flaw is in how it saves. You can't save the game. It does it automatically. The problem is that sometimes it gets lost or the server goes down and you have to start all over again. I lost count how many times I have had to start over and now I don't even want to play it. Why 343 Industries doesn't invest a week to fix this HUGE PROBLEM. It can't be that hard to do.
