HALTI OptiFit Headcollar, Medium

After studying and following the HALTI OptiFit Headcollar instructions and video, my pointer/cattledog mix let me fit this on him and with the supplemental distraction of a treat, his jerking and constant smelling of the the ground/pavement has improved wonderfully. Although he still wants to go airborne after every squirrel, the headcollar has curtailed that back to a simple one-step before it naturally corrects his direction. I'm really satisfied with the progress we've made with this product.

Works perfectly for my pit. I got a large because other halti products were always to small and she can wear this on the smallest setting.

We raise Guide Dogs for the Blind and are required to use these correction collars. The Gentle Leader is given to each puppy. Unfortunately they are not as sturdy as the Halti's and the dogs can easily get it off and chewed up before you even realize what they're doing. I switched to Halti's and haven't had one destroyed yet!

This is a complete game changer for my doberman puppy. As soon as I put it on my pup he is a completely different dog. I've tried 2 other collars that seem to have no effect on him at all and all this one does is sit across his snout. Very happy with this. If it does happen to break (which I'm not sure how it will) I will be buying again.

If you have a dog that lunges or pulls, this is a game changer! No "jerking" or yanking on the leash. This halter keeps the dog from making any headway when pulling or lunging. It's turned my pup in to a model citizen.

Doesn't sit on nose like picture. Got a medium for my pointer. Strap sits too close to eyes no matter how I adjust it. Keeps sliding up. Overall, it works okay. Only been 2 days. Don't know yet if I can control dog when encountering other dogs. She always gets in attack mode when in close distance of other dogs.
