Hamburger Helper Deluxe Philly Cheesesteak 4.8 oz. Box

For the life of me, I just don't get all the low ratings and bad reviews for this Hamburger Helper variety. We like it the best of all the different kinds. I can't help but think, that people giving it these low ratings, are not cooking it properly. These people are probably following the instructions on the box, to the letter. If you cook the included pasta for 10 minutes, then remove the lid, and cook it for another 1-3 minutes, your pasta will still be uncooked and raw. And yes, yucky! With this Hamburger Helper, I cook it for 14 minutes with the lid on, stirring occasionally, especially near the end of the cooking time, when it is more prone to sticking. After the 14 minutes, remove the lid and cook an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring as needed. Voila! Now it's cooked just right, and is as delicious as Hamburger Helper can be.

this is good. but they used to have fried onions in a little pack to sprinkle on top and it was the best thing it was so good i dont know why they changed it. its still good but i really miss the crispy onions

I followed the recipe for the most part. I just added less water because Hamburger Helper tends to require so much liquid. The consistency was great and I love that type of pasta but the flavor was not what I thought it would be. I was hoping that there would be a lot of flavor but it was very bland.

It's not bad so much as no taste, no flavor. Used to have some philly cheesesteak flavor, now nothing. bland. It didn't taste like anything, just meat and flavorless pasta.

Make sure you are checking prices before adding to your cart even on normal priced items!

i didnt realize for the price i was only getting one box and the price of shipping was astronomical, ill be returning this item and more than likely cancelling my membership i ordered cause this was in my cart for delivery and as per the usual the store didnt have it in stock,i can go to the shoprite and purchase this without all the added shipping, walmart has continuously dissapointed me with this membership that i really wanted to work, however seems like i am better off sticking with shoprite

This was very bland. After I added beef bullion, peppers, and onions, it was better. Most Hamburger Helpers have been very, very bland lately. I've found that adding less liquid seems to help a little.
