Blind Boxes are an adventure unto themselves. The level of excitement and anticipation my daughter has in opening them is refreshing, and she is in college now. Gudetama, the lazy egg, is a favorite Sanrio character of our daughter's and finding a "Blind Egg" was the perfect gift collision for a lover of the beloved character. This is the 3rd or 4th collectible I have gotten from this seller through Walmart, and every blind box, every collectible has been packaged with care and precision. Items like this become treasured nostalgia in our later years and I continue to be impressed with the quality and availability with these seemingly simple but beloved collectibles. Worth the investment in the recipient's future fond memories!

very cute. my 7 year old loves this, and even my husband says it's cute. it seems fairly durable, she's trying to use it as a stress ball, but I had to explain it'll burst. but she put a lot of pressure on it and was squeezing it until it was clear and it didn't burst, so yeah, durable

After opening the egg that gudetama came in, I was surprised at how much it feels like a real egg. It is squishy and feels like an egg when you shake it. There is liquid and a little air bubble inside. It is so soft!

soft and very squishy. has a powder feel at first but it rubs off as you play with it! not sticky or gross feeling. A squishy!

This one's too new to have its own reviews yet, but it comes from the same line as Hamee's bigger Moomin squishies, which people genuinely love. Reviewers of the jumbo version call the character adorable, well-made, and pleasant to squeeze, with material that holds up to regular handling better than most squishy toys. Since this capsule is a smaller mystery-pack version, expect the same charm and build quality in a more pocket-sized, blind-box format. Good pick if you or a Moomin fan enjoys the surprise-reveal collectible angle.

I like the idea of the mystery egg, and the packaging is pretty easy to open but the Gudetama toy is covered in powder and it gets on your hands. I probably wouldn't want to collect these and put them on a shelf out of fear of getting powder all over everything. If it weren't covered in powder, these would be great.

The wrapper on the egg was perforated, but did not tear well. The squishy was very cute, but not super fun to play with. It had some powder on the outside that smelled like paint thinner (and it got on your hands when you touched it). The water based squish was really thick in the eggshell and too thin on Gudetama. It works great as a cute figure, but not as a squish.

(This review was obtained as part of a promotion). This is a cute mystery toy, but for $12.99 I don't think the quality is there. It's fairly large, squishy, but has a bad smell to it that doesn't seem to really fade.

These are cute and a fun surprise bit knowing which design you get! I wish they were filled with something other than water.
