Hamilton Beach 10 Qt Slow Cooker, Stoneware Crock with Removable Pot, Stainless Steel

My husband and I loved the slow cook, we have been very creative cooking our daily dinner! You can just your favorite meat and vegetables, add some condiments, a little water and go to work! When you come back dinner is ready! The 3 temperatures sets are perfect for a faster cooking when you are around or for a slower cooking when you're not in the house. It's safe to leave it on, just make sure it has enough water so it won't burn your meal. When is done you can also leave in “warm” just to maintain the temperature if people eat at different times in your household.

I made some barría tacos overnight in the crockpot. Approximately nine hours on low and they were just falling apart. I'd highly recommend this crockpot for a big crowd.

The size is perfect for larger projects. However, the unit outside aluminum is very thin, so gets extremely hot. Would not trust this unit for cooking long term and then keeping warm for serving. Serving might be a problem if anyone were to touch the outside.

I like the size of this slow cooker, I can cook a whole Turkey in it. I cooked a chicken in it and it turned out nice and tender and juicy. I didn't like that it didn't have guards for the top to keep it from coming off.

It arrived in a box that looked untouched, which means the factory approved sale of a damaged bowl. It's like a second, all scratched up on outside, even has scratch and missing top coat in spots on inside, so I don't want to cook food in it. There was also a heavy film of grease (or ?) that scrubbing with dawn wouldn't completely remove and could it get into the food. Reminded me of greasy treatment stuff a "fire smell removal" cleanup place used when they had my stuff after a fire. Very odd to me. Was it returned, cleaned, and repacked as new by HB? Anyway, the size is excellent. I wish I could have used it for Thanksgiving. I guess that's what I get for opening it at the last minute.

so I just got this today and I should have read the reviews my advice when people say that it's arrived damaged don't get it at all I was warned this used to not be a thing with Hamilton Beach but it is now quality is not good I'm about to call Hamilton Beach and say lick I don't know what the deal is but you got defective products coming off of your assembly line don't waste your money that is a real bad scratch

The online ad and box advertise as a 10 quart but you can't get 8 full quarts in. The lid would be resting on the sauce with 8 quarts so I don't know where they expect the other 2 quarts to go. I am upset at the false advertising and will be returning.

I received this today and it's not even the correct model that I ordered, it's not black and has no locking lid. The one I ordered was suppose to be black with a locking lid and model 33191. Instead they sent me model 33191G, it's gray and no locking lid. Very disappointed! I'll be returning this and going elsewhere to buy a crock pot.

While receiving my order incredibly fast, I did not get the right one. Infact, what I recieved wasn't even a purchase option. I got a standard stainless steel 10 quart. Not the lid lock black 10 quart. Hopefully I will get the right one after returning this one.
