Hamilton Beach 1.1 Cu. ft. Red Microwave

The main use of my microwave is heating coffee and making popcorn. The microwave oven I purchased a year ago, has been totally unsatisfactory to me. It is a Panasonic 1250 watt inverter oven. It is way more oven than I need and it will NOT make satisfactory popcorn! (And it takes 6-7 minutes to get half popped tough popcorn.)

This microwave was purchased for my daughter who lives in another state. She loves the performance of it, and the quick way that it responds when set to perform a function. She and I love to cyber shop together online since we live so far a part. This item proved to be a nice blend for her white kitchen and the other white appliances in it.

I didn't realize there would be such a difference between this microwave and the one it replaced. It is 1000 watt over 900, and it's a little larger than my old one, but the quality stands out, just closing the door with how solid it is. I do cook at a little lower power sometimes, but often tell myself and others how I like it. Actually when it quit Christmas Eve, I just wanted a RED microwave and I wanted it in a hurry, as I sure wasn't going shopping due to holidays and the storm we were having, but can say I am very pleased with it and would highly recommend it. I bought this for my mother. She really likes it. Its not too big, or too small for her. The handle on the door is nice, since she has a difficult time pushing the release button on her old microwave. The only thing I need to add that may be helpful. When placing the microwave on a counter, or microwave cart, a non-skid mat, or rubberized material should be placed under the "feet" of the microwave to prevent slipping off the surface when the handle is pulled open. Other than that, its a good machine.

Easy to use but this us the third one. First one was exchanged because instruction decals started peeling off in a few days. Second one lasted about 1 1/2-2yrs but leaked a brown gummy substance from the left rear and the interior ceiling burned a hole in itself over time. It was still working when we replaced it with this current oven. We DO like this oven in spite of other bad reviews. This one is working fine as of this writing. Any changes and I’ll update. The features, size, and ease of use is great for the price of $110.

I bought this microwave for myself for Christmas and it's so pretty. The black with the red front is just what I wanted. It's very quiet and has many features that are very easy to use. I thought I might have made a mistake buying this since the price was on the low side but I couldn't more pleased with it and highly recommend it.

5 star performance so far. just started using for a week now. ordered WEST BEND brand because one this one replaced konked out after SEVERAL years of perfect performance. but rec'd Hamilton instead. BUT looks the same in design and even slightly larger [bottom of kitch cabinets about 18 1/2 inches from countertop and great clearance top of this 13 and 1/4 inches microwave. dept of microwave is approx 14 inches and width is 20 inches. perfect fit. with a larger rotating glass 'lazy susan' plate!

I bought this for the price. So it's great. At the time red was the only color, and now I really like it. The panel surface seems to not get as messy with fingerprints as others I've had. I like that it's bigger and a bit more powerful than my previous choices. Yes, I go through a lot of microwaves.

I really like this microwave. It is very nice. There is a little cardboard looking thing on the right side that I thought was packing material but it was a Waveguard. I took it off then realized it was NOT cardboard. I called the 1-800 number and they were very nice and sent a replacement free. I did mention that they need to put a sticker that says DO NOT REMOVE. That is the only complaint I have. Very nice for the price.

I had this model for over 4 years, and it just recently died. I found that Walmart still had this same model and had to buy another one. Love it, would recommend it to anyone. very easy to use, room enough for my families needs. Also the perfect color for our kitchen, even thought about ordering another one just to have.
