This coffee maker makes great coffee! To make it easier to access water container without removing it my husband put a sheet of a paper towel under it. It slides easily now over the granite counter. I love how the coffee is very hot although you can control the temperature. I have no complaints what so ever.

I have had 2 Hamilton Beach Flex Brew makers. I bought them for the features including brew temp. I disliked the K-cup feature but will not elaborate on it here. The biggest CON about the old machine was the lid eventually warped from steam. So I bought this, the Professional Version. PROS: Perfect brewing temp. Timer for heating element, has extended range up to 3 hours. Swing out basket instead of flip up. Has not warped yet. Multiple brew strengths. Lift out water vessel (I love this) Comes with coffee scoop. CONS: I have not found a single thing that I could say anything negative about. This coffee maker is a great choice, brews a perfect cup of joe at the perfect temp.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Straight out of the box this professional coffeemaker was so much lighter than it looked. The metal components were installed in the places where heat or wear and tear would make a difference(like the brew basket, hot plate and information/direction buttons). So often those buttons are a sticker that wear out. They are raised and so easy to operate whether you are setting the clock, brew time or boldness of coffee flavor. I liked the step down brew plate to keep the pot securely in place until you need it. As a safety feature, you can pause the brewing cycle if you want to pour a cup of coffee before the brewing is completed. Another well thought out feature is that if the brewing cycle is begun without the handled water reservoir it will stop brewing in 60 seconds. There is a pod water filter to keep the flavors true. The brewing basket swings out easily and uses a cone shaped paper filter. You can set the brewing strength from classic to robust. I prefer the middle flavor of bold as I use decaffeinated coffee most of the time. You can make 4 to 12 cups at a time and there is an included 2 Tbsp measuring scoop with suggestions to meet your unique flavor profile. The coffee can be kept warm from 10 minutes to 4 hours at low, medium or high. If you don't choose a time it automatically sets for 2 hours. The coffeemaker tells you the time since the coffee was brewed. The coffee comes out smooth and that flavor is not altered through continued warming. It is easy to disassemble and clean. I am really impressed with the easy of use and the great coffee taste.

It has three different settings to make the flavor which is normal,bold,and robust. This coffee pot had a removable tank that you put water in. You have to make sure the tank is properly put in or the automatic brew won't work. Also on the top you will find a removable scoop to use to get your coffee out of container. I thought this was very convenient. Overall this coffee pot makes the best coffee and is very durable. I just love this coffee pot.

It looks great on my kitchen counter and doesn't take up much space. The high brewing temperature makes the coffee better in my opinion. There are 4 brew strength options. The button selection on top is easy to use. It is so convenient to have the built in coffee scoop on top. The 60 oz. Water reservoir is easy to fill. I use this coffee maker daily. I program it before I go to bed so my coffee will be ready in the morning when I wake up. There is a pause and pour feature if you want a cup before it is done brewing. The basket swings open to easily put the coffee in the cone brew basket. The cleaning cycle reminder is great so I will never forget to clean it. This is a great quality coffee maker and I would recommend it.

I've been an avid coffee drinker for years, and this machine by far is the best I've owned! I enjoy being able to customize my coffee with the four brewing strengths. I favor a more bold robust coffee, and I get a consistent flavor each brew! The basket holder release button, as well as the hinge on the swing-out filter basket helps secure the solid build machine back in place! Also, the easy to remove water reservoir makes filling the tank simple. This has helped my aging hands make less of a mess. I no longer have to pour the water, I easily fill the tank under the faucet and place the chamber on the machine. The auto brew programming option has saved me time as well in my morning routine! I love waking up to the scent of my coffee, and pouring my coffee from the no drip carafe. The Hamilton Beach Professional Programmable Coffee Maker has enhanced my coffee routine!

You can set how strong you want the coffee, how hot you want it and how long the burner keeps the coffee hot. I program it so my coffee is ready and waiting when I get up. It is made high so it doesn't take up a lot of counter space. It even has a built in scoop. Did I mention you can remove the water chamber? Oh I love it. Easy cleaning.

This has a removeable reservoir which makes it easy to fill with water and also for cleaning. The coffee basket requires #4 cone filters, but it does come with a starter set. There are 4 different brew strengths that you can choose from, and it has an automatic shut off, so you don't have to worry about turning it off. I love everything about this versatile coffee maker, and I highly recommend it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first glance, I love the initial appearance. It definitely looks like a professional product. It offers a great balance between base model coffee makers/brands (Mr. Coffee, Black & Decker, etc.) and top of the line super expensive coffee maker/brands (Breville, Moccamaster, etc.). At it's price point, I think this coffee maker is most definitely worth the money. I do have more CONS then PROS. However, overall I love this coffee maker as the PROS far outweigh the CONS. PROS: - Removable water reservoir. Excellent feature that I admittedly never experienced in any of my previous coffee makers. Also, never a feature I knew I wanted but not sure I could ever go back. Collapsable handle makes it easy to fill without getting wet or spilling. - Adjustable hotplate temperature. I've always found most coffee maker hotplates to be too hot and they cannot be adjusted so it usually burns the coffee. Love being able to adjust the temperature so I can maintain hot coffee longer without burning it. - Adjustable hotplate duration. In addition to the above, all of my previous coffee makers had a hotplate that was too hot and if you didn't remember to turn it off, would burn the coffee. Being able to adjust time and temperature has made the hotplate a useful feature in my eyes. - Coffee scoop spoon. Such a simple addition that makes all the difference. Hides away beautifully, easy to grab quickly, perfect size. Never seen this in any other coffee maker. Sets this one apart. The little things make all the difference sometimes. CONS: - Coffee filter often sticks/folds when closing filter basket (Picture attached). When closing the filter basket, I have to be careful the paper filter doesn't fold into itself. I have adjusted to this design flaw by folding the paper filter in a certain way before placing in the basket. However, I believe this should have been addressed in the design phases. I am using the paper filter brand that matches that of the filter samples provided with the device. - Much less real stainless steel than I expected. Only the front of the basket is stainless steel. I expected the entire surround to be stainless. I will add that it was disguised very well and most people wouldn't notice that the majority of the device is plastic unless closely inspected. - Coffee doesn't brew the full amount of water when finished in pot. I expect that if I fill the water line to 12 that the pot will show 12 cups of coffee when finished. This one brews just above 11 when water is filled to 12. I realize some water is evaporated or lost in the coffee filter and elsewhere. However, I expect the manufacturer to plan and adjust for this as best they can when designing a device. - When setting the time to program a coffee brew, the coffee maker beeps to confirm that the new coffee brew time has been set. However, whenever I set the program time, coffee maker beeps to confirm, but then I have to press the program button again to turn on the program. I wish that after setting a program time that the program would turn on automatically after the new time is confirmed. I never adjust the program time unless I'm setting it up for a scheduled brew. This is a personal preference that others may think differently. However, before realizing it worked this way, I missed turning on the program and woke up to no coffee brewed.
