This coffee urn is great if you are having a large gathering. It brewed 45 cups in just over 45 minutes and the coffee tasted great. I loved how easy it was to setup and use. I loved the sturdy base and twist-lock top and large handles, which made it easier for carrying to the table.The cup-activated dispenser was so easy to use, allowing one-hand usage. I used this to make coffee every morning for a week for 35-40 people. I found it very easy to use and many people commented on how good the coffee was. People were confused at first that you pushed the lever rather than having a lever on the top of the spigot but they adapted quickly. Using this coffee pot for a brunch, I found it easy to carry from cooking area to serving area. Because the pot had to be moved, the indicator light for when the coffee was done was helpful. This Urn is ideal for entertaining, whether a weekend brunch or dinner party! It has a very classic look (clean & sturdy). It was simple to use...performed well. It holds more water than visible by appearance. Heat resistant, but I would NOT recommend moving it while in use, unless absolutely necessary.
