this coffee maker was rated high and I had read some really positive reviews on another retailers website. I wanted a coffee maker with timer that wouldn't poop out after just a couple of months. This model is EXCELLENT!! It has a simple operation the timer is very easy to program. My only "Cons" and they are too small to take a star away are that the Auto-Shutoff is not adjustable and turns off a bit too quickly for me (I think 90 minutes) and it runs a bit loud when it brews. Not crazy loud just louder then my last unit.

I purchased this coffee pot after having a Mr. Coffee for about a Year that suddenly stopped working. I vow not to buy one again. I love the easy setup and the lightweight pot. After following fort time use instructions the coffee has a great taste and brews perfectly. I would recommend this to others. I made a wise decision.

This is a well built and attractive coffee pot that is easily programmed and makes good coffee. The pot is economical in price but as good as it gets in quality of finish and apparent reliability... Great buy.

Needed a new coffee maker as the old one was taking forever to brew a 12 cup pot of coffee. Saw this advertised for $19.99 with free in-store pick-up. The reviews on the whole were good so I ordered it. Used it for about a week now and am very happy. Brews a pot very quickly and the coffee tastes great.

This is my second Hamilton Beach Coffee Maker. I truly like this product and appreciate the brand. This is my go to brand name as it always delivers. My favorite feature on this coffee maker is pre-setting the brew time. I am one that must wake up to coffee already made. It also has a brew options feature allowing a choice of 1-4 cups, regular or bold. This should satisfy all personal taste preferences. My only issue with this coffee maker is when we poor the coffee into our mug it seems to drip. I assume it is just a sealing issue, and oddly enough, it does not happen all the time. My only other issue is that sometimes the filter folds during the brewing process and does not permit the maker to brew the coffee correctly as it is blocking the water from dripping directly into the filter and onto the coffee. I really do not think this is a design issue, just a filter issue. Overall, this is a great product and I strongly recommend to anyone seeking a user friendly coffee maker.

Perfect brew, has options of 1-4 cups, bold, regular, auto turn off, no spill carafe, uses my favorite cone shape filters for more intense brew. One flaw, the pot slides easily off the burner. Other then that, love it.

We've made a dozen or so pots and have been impressed with the overall performance. One negative is the water window is only on one side and hard to see.

Bought two coffee makers at the great price of $19.00 dollars each. The first one we used stopped working in 3 days. The pump inside coffee maker stop working. We open the second one we bought as a back up and so far it is working fine. I rated the maker as a 3 star only because the first one stopped working. We did take the first one back to our local Walmart and of course the refunded our purchase price.
