[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Love this Hamilton Beach personal blender! I like that it has 2 buttons on it for pulse and blend. You can use the pulse one to do Salsa and sauses like that and the other one for smoothies. Also I like that you can use the jar to blend your smoothies and take them with you. It has 800 watts of power so your smoothies come out perfect without any chunks in them. I highly recommend this blender, you will not be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Hamilton Beach Personal Power Blender Plus! I was very surprised at how powerful the blender is. I used it to blend up a couple of eggs for an omelet. I blended some oats to make them quick oats, and I ground some coffee beans. My only complaint is that it is a little tippy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my blenders a lot making smoothies and spice blends to just name a few things I do with my blenders. The very best feature I love about this model is how easy it is to clean. There are no wells in the blade cup that are impossible to clean, the blade cup is all one piece and it's smooth throughout. The travel cup is smooth with no ridges where food particles can get stuck and hard to get to when cleaning so it is very easy to clean. Even though the blender is a bit bigger than I thought it was in the picture it's still slimmer than most models and fits nicely on the counter and I'm considering getting a second blender to keep in our travel trailer. The travel cup is a good size with a large opening for drinking with a little handle for carrying. I tried tipping the cup upside down and nothing leaked out, another plus. I tried this with smoothie and water when I was washing it. I didn't think the quiet shield did a great job of dulling any noise but I did like the smoothie button to keep the blender quieter when used in the early morning hours. It starts and stops mixing slowly and then senses it's ready to go and starts blending. It is easily stopped and started using any of the buttons and the pulse/blend buttons are large push tabs which is also a feature I like. Since I have my own way of ordering ingredients when making smoothies I used the suggested order of ingredients written on the travel cup and although it's a good suggestion I preferred my own order of ingredients, not a big deal at all because the blender will still make a great smoothie. I have tried many blender over the years and for a personal blender this does a great job and looks like it'll be easy to travel with and very easy to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with this blender. I make a lot of smoothies, especially when the grand children are here. Frozen fruit and ice cubes get blended perfectly. Not 1 chunk of ice left. I normally had pea sized or larger chunks of ice left when I made smoothies in my full size blender. And the simplicity of using This blender is great. Push the button, it does the rest. No worries of over or under blending. I did have to try different amounts of liquids to get the right consistency, but that's normal. I don't even use the noise shield. It's not nearly as loud as my previous blenders. I can't say anything negative about this blender. I am very pleased with it. Cleaning it is so simple that I don't even bother putting it in the dishwasher. Love this little machine!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed with the power of this Hamilton Beach Personal Power Blender Plus, it's motor easily handles tough or frozen ingredients like fruit or ice or beans. Yes, beans! I used it to make the best hummus I have ever had. Super smooth and creamy in seconds. Garbanzo beans, whole cloves of garlic, tahini paste, and lemon juice and water were transformed into a heavenly dip for guests. It has the power of much larger (aka pricier) blenders but in a compact, personal size. I also love the sound guard that helps me not wake up the household when I make a morning protein shake before a walk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great single serve blender! We love having a single serve because we are usually only making 1 or 2 smoothies at a time. I usually just make 1 and split it and it's the perfect portion size for my 2 kids. The motor is powerful and I've had no issue with blending frozen fruits or greens. The smoothie always comes out perfectly smooth, no random chunks. I like the label on the machine that tells you the best order to put in ingredients, it helps you get the smoothest results possible. The splash/sound guard is a nice addition, other blenders we have owned are so noisy, but this helps keep the noise to a minimum. It also comes with the to-go top that makes it simple to take your drink on the go. I'd definitely recommend this blender if you're looking for a quality single serve.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought about a week ago. This very powerful blender crushes ice. There are preset buttons, there are buttons for short bursts. There is a quiet shield, nice. The smoothie button is so great, no guessing.Cleaning is always a big issue. Hand wash, dishwasher OR put the jar back on the blender, water in it and a drop of soap, and run a cycle—-clean!! Such a nice appliance...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I saw the description of this Blender with a 20 oz cup, I thought to myself great; a nice compact small machine I can make smoothies with. But when it arrived I was a bit overwhelmed to se it was 16" high ! And rather heavy. So my original plans for a machine I could pull in and out of my cabinets easily went bye-bye. This machine requires a permanent location on my kitchen countertop. That being said, the reason the base motor unit is so large is because it is very powerful. It chops up veggies and fruits effortlessly, eats through ice cubes in a flash, and blends blends blends. Performance is 5 stars. But you need a place to keep it on your countertops, so if space is limited, it might be in your way. It is also rather loud, despite having a sound shield system which does lower the noise level, but conversation must still wait till blending is finished anyway. But the smoothies are delicious. Had it been more compact, I would have rated it 5 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little blender has power! It blends fruit (fresh or frozen), seeds, ice, yogurt and protein powder with no problem. It clearly labels minimum and maximum amounts so you never have spills or overflows and the jar lists items in order of placement to take the guesswork out. Or if you are forgetful like me and don't remember if fresh fruit goes first before the seeds. The blending jar/cup comes with a flip-top lid. The best part of the top - you can snap the lid open to prevent it from hitting you in the face as you enjoy your drink. I was pleasantly surprised by the quiet shield - it's definitely not as noisy and disturbing to sleeping family members as other blenders. The blade is very easy to clean with a quick hand wash. I don't mind having this blender on my counter because it just looks cool.
