You can use this as a pressure cooker and cook foods at a 70% faster rate than other products or you can use the low-pressure mode and make things like cheesecake. This has a true slow technology that gradually increases the heat and makes sure the food is not overcooked. There are 12 preset cooking programs for: meat, poultry, rice, steamed vegetables, beans, whole grains, casseroles, eggs, soup, yogurt, and cheesecake. This is easy to clean and dishwasher safe as well. I absolutely love that this one pot can be used to create so many different foods fast and easily. This is high quality and easy to use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Hamilton Beach Quick Cook Pressure Cooker for the first time today and I really love it and am wondering why it took me so long to add one to my cooking appliances? It is so amazing I cooked a corned beef in it and it only took 90 minutes and I have never had such a tender corned beef in my life! This wonderful cooker should be in every home it saves so much time and is easy to use! Super easy to clean and has so many benefits like you can brown your vegetables in the same pot then just add your meat to save from having to use a different pot! Just set the timer and this pressure cooker does the work for you in more than half the time!

The button options and lid features are very similar to the original name brand version of this item. The trivet rack is more sturdy than what I've used in previous products and it also comes with a nice scraping spoon. The internal pot is easy to clean and non stick coated. Easy to use small appliance for cooking a variety of foods including steamed tamales, perfect deviled eggs, soups, whole meals like meatloaf and mashed potatoes, healthy rice, and even dessert such as lava cakes!

This cooker can be used to saute, steam, used as a slow cooker besides pressure cooker methods. There is even a delay setting so you can plan on when your meal will be done! I chose the classic beef stew recipe that I used to cook in the traditional pressure cooker pot on top of the stove back in the 70's. This cooker is far superior since it's electric, you can set up your cooker on any countertop space available. There are selection buttons on the front for type of food you are going to cook, how you want to cook it, temperature settings and time settings. The sauté selection can be on low or high giving you the right temperature for the meat you want to brown. With the coated interior of the pot, food doesn't stick to it enhancing the browning method. The pot is large enough to feed a nice stew for a family of 5 or more! My vegetables were cooked perfectly without breaking them down into mush and the meat was tenderized by the steaming of the pressure. This pressure cooker also has a release valve to let the steam out quicker than the 10-30 minutes natural release. While the steam is releasing the cooker puts the meal on a keep warm setting, so you don't need to worry about having cold veggies before you get them to the plate. Cleanup is a breeze with the non-stick coated, interior pot coming out of the cooker, removable lid and gasket. I was very impressed with this pressure cooker and highly suggest purchasing it for yourself or even as a gift.

With 12 pre set options it also has a dual pressure mode that makes sure your food is cooked perfectly. Very simple and easy to use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have used the pressure cook, saute, and slow cook settings. All work great. Non stick of the pot makes it really east to clean after cooking. Very easy to use and straight forward controls. The one down side is the pot seems small for the size of the machine when comparing it to other brands I have owned in the past. Other than that I am very happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would start by saying I already own an electronic multifunctional cooker of another brand, and this one is really well built and I can't see a noticeable difference in the appearance weight or even size. I tried the pressure cooking, yogurt so far. The yogurt function works so well and yields a perfect yogurt every time. The pressure cooking on the other hand takes pretty long time to heat that if someone in a hurry this won't be the best option, but once started everything else was fine. Cleaning was simple.
