Hamilton Beach BrewStation 40 Cup Coffee Urn Model 40540R

Just what I was looking for. Shorter than the average urn, which I love!

I have never had a better experience of having a brew station as the Hamilton Beach BrewStation 40 Cup Coffee Urn. I have had the pleasure of trying to brew from 10 to 40 cups of coffee and what surprise me was the quality and taste was the same as brewing 10 or 40 cups. Great for parties, get togethers or just for your own enjoyment. The other thing I enjoyed was that you did not have to hold anything down to get the coffee, just put your cup where the spout is, press and enjoy your coffee, the red light will tell you when it is done. Easy to clean and stored. You can, if you like, use a filter or not. it depends on the coffee grounds you buy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I bought this to host a shower for my daughter. It is so easy to use and keep clean. The coffee tastes great for hours on end. No burned taste and no oils from the warming. This is very easy to assemble and clean, also the instructions were easy to follow. Love the recessed spout so it is not accidently left in the open position. Compact in size for 40 cup coffee/tea maker, it is simple and easy to use and brew. Compared to the normal size of 4 feet or 48 inches, this Hamilton Beach Brewstation Urn stands only 15" high. Have only had this a short time so have only used it twice so far. So far I love it. It is easy to use and easy to clean. Used it for a family gathering and a baby shower. At both events I had comments on how good the coffee tasted and how sleek the machine looks. Coffee stayed hot without tasting burnt. Easy to clean & easy set up. I made 20 cups & used 1 3/4 cups coffee & found it to be very strong so next time I will use less. Did take 20 min to finish like book said. Coffee was hot & stayed hot for 2 hours after it was made, & the cup fit perfect & it was easy to get the coffee into my cup. I would use this for family gatherings. Reviewing BrewStation 40540R. Has a locking lid- be sure to secure prior to brewing. Electric cord approximately 24 inches long, made to use with percolator coffee for best results, but I emptied K-pods with good results and no granules in coffe. Begins brewing when plugged in, took about 15 minutes to finish, ready light shows when done. Coffee cup easily presses handle to fill cup, urn switches to keep warm when brewing done. Silver part of urn is hot to touch- keep away from little hands! Remained fresh for hours after brewing. Will be great item for group meetings and family gatherings. I tried out my BrewStation 40 Cup Coffee Urn at a small gathering. It works well, and it's beautiful to look at. I think it would be great if it had a longer cord, as power strips are not always available. This is important, especially since it's the type of appliance that I'll use for parties. I love the BrewStation. Very professional looking, easy for people to get coffee just push your cup into the button and the coffee flows. No handles to turn on or buttons to hold in with your hands, your cup does it all by pushing the button in with your cup. This is great no mess from juggling cup with coffee and trying to turn off handle. It is great for a family get together, parties and meetings. Your can make 10 to 40 cups at a time. All you have to do is while your setting up put the water in for the cups you want to make and the coffee of course and plug it in. When your event starts you coffee will be ready (it takes between 20 to 40 minutes depending of amount of cups you are making). Couldn't be any easier. Coffee anyone.....
