Hamilton Beach Electric Can Opener Gets It DONE!
My several years old Hamilton Beach electric can opener just died after MANY happy grand openings! I found the exact same model on sale $10.00 OFF on the Walmart website! I visited the nearest store from me but they had no stock. I ordered the can opener and some Dog treats to to get the FREE delivery deal on the Walmart website and I was promised a delivery for two days later! This morning my doorbell rang and there was my Walmart delivery parcel Safe and Sound on my porch! The Dog LOVES her treats and I LOVE my new electric can opener! THANKS Walmart! Now I'm looking forward to opening some food can next and I had no difficulty to insert the cutting handle into the opener base unit! I had MORE difficulty getting the cord out of the hole on the bottom back of the unit! But I got it!

Can opener
This electric can opener has been an absolute lifesaver! I've always struggled with manual can openers and have broken at least 3 or 4 in the past. This one works effortlessly and has made opening cans so much easier. Highly recommended for anyone who has difficulty with manual can openers or just wants a more convenient option."

Disappointing
We've really tried to like this can opener but it can be so challenging to attach a can. Now, less than a year later, it is skipping as it perforates the can. tlTime to look for a different one.

hard to put together (at least for a senior )
This comes in separate parts ...impossible to put together...but, because I am a shut-in . impossible to get out to return it ...so...it's going to one of the charities in town ...hope one of them is able to put it together. In the meantime, I'm back to using my smaller one which does not fit large cans . I cannot send a picture, as I do NOT have a camera able to do that (at 91, I am old fashioned )

Problematic
It comes in 2 separate pieces (as do all electric can openers, impossible to put together ..maybe a pro can do it, but a normal (I hope) lady can't

NOT RECOMMENDED Avoid this product. The handle is made of chrome/plastic. Ours broke off after 2 years You have been warned.
