How I didn't know about this kettle before now! This is like a Thermos. The water stays hot for longer than normal kettles and the surface doesn't get hot so even if you touch it accidentally, you won't burn yourself. Highly recommended to own one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this Kettle. Looks great on the counter along with my other small appliances. The display lit up when I put it on the base and was easy to read. Now I will be able to choose just the right temperature I prefer. I filled the kettle with 8 cups of water and it boiled (to 212 degrees) in a little more than 7 mins 30 secs (is a bit loud) then turn itself to keep warm mode for 30 mins. I live in Texas, water is a bit on the "hard" side, cleaning with vinegar works great. I poured about 1/4 cup inside, let stand for a few minutes, swirled around a bit, rinsed with water. Feels to be made well and should last awhile. This is one of the best kettles I've used. I would recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great kettle! Very sleek design. The digital temperature gauge makes it easy to see how warm your water is. Heats very quickly and keeps the water warm once it hits the temperature you want. Easy to use. Lots of different temperature options. Haven't had to clean it yet, so can't speak to that, hopefully it's easy and the kettle won't get stained with watermarks.

The reason I gave 4 stars is because there is no way externally to see how much water is in the container. You have to open the lid to see how much water is left. Inconvenient, and potentially dangerous. Otherwise, it's excellent.

Pros: Nice looking kettle; very light weight; cool to the touch; quiet when boiling; easy to pour Cons: Kettle at first boiled to the 212 degree mark but after about 4 uses, it will only boil to 208-209 degrees now. I checked the water temp with a kitchen thermometer and it registered 209. In addition, the kettle rocks quite a bit on the base, which seems very unsafe. It does this rocking with minimal water and with more water in the kettle. The base is the same size of the base of the kettle. The kettle also disperses a lot of steam when boiling, much more than my previous kettle, which also makes it a bit unsafe. I also miss having a window on the outside of the kettle to show water level and a lid that is removable. This lid is not removable. I ended up returning the kettle, especially at this price.

There is no mention anywhere in the manual that the kettle beeps every time you press a button and when the water is boiled (and no way to disable the beeping like some other kettles have). I wouldn't have purchased this if I knew it made loud beeping noises.
