Hamilton Beach Custom Grind 14-Cup Electric Coffee Grinder, 5 Grind Settings, Single Button Press, Black & Stainless

This is the second one I have purchased. The first one was lost when my apartment building burned down. I liked it so much that I held off buying a grinder until I could remember where I had acquired it from. I now have it's identical replacement. The unit is relatively quiet, has a large capacity for a single-person use grinder, has useful settings that work wonderfully and produce the described results. I love this thing, and I'm not the type of person to gush over products.

It is small, looks good, the grind is excellent, the grind selector actually works!, and it is QUIET. It replaced a Cuisinart grinder that was INSANELY loud and had a totally non-functional grind selector. The measure is great. Using Starbucks french roast beans, one full load = 8 cups of strong coffee. Highly recommend.

I love this coffee grinder. I hope they never new and improve it or discontinue it. I have purchased 3 or 4 of this exact model in the 6 or 7 years that I have been using it. It's easy to use, easy to clean and takes up very little space on the counter.

This works as advertised. Select 3 different grind options. select cup size and the grinder makers a very accurate grind of the coffee. Seems well made. Love that the container is removable for cleaning and removing contents. Nice storage for the cord. Does 14 cups equivalent of beans at one time. powerful enough for the job and not overly loud when running

I purchases this grinder specifically to grind espresso. It works flawlessly. The grinder feels really sturdy and i get a really fine powder on thd last setting. You can do coffee, herbs, almost anything. This grinder is my new buddy for fresh espresso from my new Delonghi. Absolutely great value and works freat. Up to 14 cups of coffee you can grind easily anyway you want. i highly recommend. Even has a neat storage spot for the cable while not in use.

I found this grinder to be useful in many applications. Most importantly, the grinding bowl could be remove for cleaning, power cord could wrapped around the base and covered after used . It was a positive experienced so far since i only used it several times. I have a con: I found the grinding bowl top edge felt not smooth (it felt sharp around the edges, but this is only my opinion as a machinist). I lightly used scotch-brite to smooth it out. Otherwise base on price and ease of use, it seems fair to me as I have used Hamilton Beach products in the past.

Easy to use, compact, and nice appearance. Removable grinding basket and auto-grinding process. You just set it and forget it. The grinder does its magic and stops when done grinding according to the setting selection. It comes with a brush with a hidden storage at the back of the unit. Also, the power cable can be hidden at the bottom of the unit for storage, or so you don't have unnecessary cable length hanging around. A great value for your money.

Had a Kitchen Aid for years that finally went belly up.. I ordered a replacement Kitchen Aid grinder and this was substituted instead. I was initially not happy about that, but it turns out this had some nice features. Longevity is the only unanswered question at this point.

This coffee grinder works well once you figure out its idiosyncrasies. It is necessary to gently turn the inner metal cup to the right after inserting; it will not click, but it locks it in place. Then, you have to put the clear lid on correctly, with the printed instructions in the back, and turn it tighter than you think you ought to in order to lock it in place and allow you to start grinding. I like that you just push the start button and release for it to work. I found the coffee was ground finer than I wanted at first, but I was able to adjusted the settings to get a satisfactory result. You can also just interrupt the grind by pressing the power button again. I found that the noise of this grinder was not bad, either.

This grinder works really good. Looks and works well. Gave it 4 stars because its not a burr grinder. way less expensive though. Like 80.00 less than your cheapest burr grinder. It has 3 grind choices. Course, med., and fine. It has a locking lid, which I like. Select the amount up to 12 cups, push a button and it stops by itself when ground. The grinding cup is stainless steel and all you do is give it a half turn to get grounds out.
