The Hamilton Beach electric knife is a wonderful tool for your everyday and holiday meats. It's easy to use and is comfortable to hold. It slices meat nicely and is also great for bread. This is the second Hamilton Beach electric knife I've owned as my last one was 10 years old and we wore it out! Great purchase at a great price, I highly recommend.

The blades are sharp, and easy to insert & to remove from housing, for cleaning etc. Ergonomic handle fits easily in your hand, smooth easy trigger pull to engage the blade motion. The 5' foot cord makes it easy to move around while cutting your ham, turkey etc.

Cuts smoothly, evenly, and quickly through an oven-baked roast beef, roast pork, and turkey breast. And the heavy-duty fork is very useful in holding the meat/poultry still while slicing. Weekends are my time to experiment with new recipes, and this Hamilton Beach Electric Knife Set is nudging me on to be more creative!

Makes it easy to keep the parts together and store in my kitchen without any worries of a piece getting misplaced. The two sizes of blades will definitely come in handy as we tackle new items in the kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband used the knife on a turkey breast today. He said it worked okay. He also said it would take some getting uses to. He hasn't used one in a very long time. He will try it again on another type of meat and see how it works. It cut easily. The turkey was cut very nicely. We would recommend it.

The blades don't seem as sharp as my old electric knife, struggled to cut fresh sourdough this morning. The handle is a bit fatter than my old one, so a little less ergonomic, and the blades are shorter. I had my previous set (different brand) for probably over 15 years, but it finally broke so I bought a new one. It's not bad, but I think my old one was better.

The on and off lever is difficult to engage - it does not slide easily and will not stay engaged without a lot of effort

The case it came in was broken %26 the off and on trigger mechanism would not even function which is highly disappointing for a Hamilton Beach product.
