[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The FlexBrew Universal Coffee Maker is overall an easy-to-use product an it helps to eliminate the need for multiple machines on my counter top. I have used it for a few weeks and so far it has brewed accurately and the coffee tastes great from my selected methods. I have brewed coffee with the two methods (k-cup and ground coffee) as well as the Nespresso pods. The only thing that would have made this even better, is if there was a milk steamer/frother but it's not a big enough issue but would be a nice feature. Pros: uses K-cup size coffee pods, Nespresso pods and ground coffee with the included coffee ground basket. It has a large water reservoir and allows to select a cup size when brewing (8, 10, 14 oz or Bold). Cons: the water reservoir is on the back which can be frustrating because I have mine under the cabinets and I have to pull the whole machine forward to easily fill the reservoir. The instruction book does not specify the Nespresso pod size (the Vertuo pods do NOT fit).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I absolutely love the Hamilton Beach FlexBrew. Everyone can make their coffee just the way they like it. Instead of going to the coffee shops, I can make my drinks at home and it saves me lots of time and money. I really love the design and it's made with great quality. Super easy to use and clean up is a breeze. Looks great with all my other appliances.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ups of this coffee maker is that it makes good coffee and espresso also I like the options of cup sizes from 8oz,10oz,or 14oz for coffee and 1.35oz, 2.7oz or 5oz for espresso. It's also easy to clean and it's not as big as it looks on the box, it fits perfect on my coffee stand. The only thing I don't like about it is that it vibrants loud.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving this coffee maker!! Easy to use! Coffee tastes amazing:) And im obsessed with the side espresso maker! No crazy cleaning to start, just a quick one time run through and youre ready to go! The only downfall is it is a little noisy. Besides that i would totally recommend!! Hamilton Beach doesnt disappoint!
The Hamilton Beach FlexBrew Universal Coffee Maker was sold and shipped by a company labeled as Atlas Deals/Electronics Central21 LLC, who apparently performs not-so-great refurbs on electrical appliances. When I received the coffee maker, I noticed that there were a few layers of tape on the outer and inner box that had been cut. The machine still had stickers on it as if it were new, but there were water spots and black residue in the tank. The whole thing smelled mildly like hospital cleaning supplies. There was a lot of dust in and around the various compartments. As I was trying to prime the machine for first use (running water through it), the seal inside the espresso compartment fell out, and I liked to have never got it put back. I was finally successful in making a cup of espresso, but potential customers need to know about these things before they purchase. It was in fairly good condition, but this was not a brand new product. I don't feel that the asking price is justified for a refurb of this caliber, especially when it's not listed as a refurb. It is also excessively (like EXCESSIVELY) noisy, as other reviewers have stated.
I just unboxed the item Tuesday. Tuesday and Wednesday this item semi worked twice with a medium amount of coffee grinds mixed in. I should've known I had a lemon because when I ran just a water test twice before use, the ounces didn't add up. It's also very loud like a mower but I'm thinking it's because it's a lemon. I just tried it for the third time today and I selected 8oz and I barely got an ounce of coffee…,,I haven't even been able to use the espresso feature. I'm sad because I waited almost a month for this item to be shipped.
The lid for the espresso door would not close! I didn't even get to make a cup of coffee. Tried the k cup side and wouldn't work. so I had to send it right back
So loud and it vibrates badly while making the drinks. I was hopeful and excited to try this because we already had an older version of flex brew but I do not recommend this product.
The coffee maker DID NOT WORK. I wish I could have given it 0 stars.
