This is huge and very well made. I saw complaints about the bar which made me hesitate to buy it. I am so glad I ignored those and purchased it anyway. I am disabled and have issues with my muscles and hands. The bar was surprisingly easy to remove and snap into place. I honestly am not sure why people were worried about it breaking the lid or why they thought it was difficult. I am so happy I got it!!! I can make pie crusts, bread, pizza dough and so many other things again I haven't been able to do in several years because of my disabilities. Thank you!!!
I've put it to the test I've used every attachment, and I've had several different kinds of things thru most of them! I love the slicers make easy work of all my prep and it cuts thin, very happy with it! The dough blade didn't work as good as I thought it would but I think it may have to do with my mixture not a big deal to me being I mostly bought it for the slicer and purée and they both do fantastic!
Good for home. For 2-3 drink at a time. Satisfied.
I really looked around before buying this and decided to try it based on everything I wanted from a food processor. I tried almost every function and have decided to keep it because the things I love about it outnumber the things I don't like. Love the power. The spiraling was great with a zucchini havent tried anything else yet. The slicing disc is amazing. Six different thickness settings. The bowl is huge and has measurements on it. I like the cleaning brush that comes with it. It is needed when washing the blades. I also like the storage case that holds all the attachments. Hate the bar that keeps it closed. Easy to put on but more difficult to remove. I ended up turning it around and pulling rather than pushing it off the front. I am concerned it might do damage to the lid at some point. Not thrilled about the coarse shredder disc. I used it for cabbage for coleslaw and it ended up being finer that I like. The food pusher is ok but suction is made after putting things in the chute and it is difficult to get back out sometimes. Overall a very nice machine but very expensive.
When filled with ice cubes, the motor has sufficient power to shave fast and with ease. But with less ice cubes remaining and less weight on the blades, the ice cubes bouncing around, rather then getting shaved. The should be some spring-loaded plate on top or similar.
First time I used this machine the ice got jammed in grinder. I removed the ice & started again. It jammed again. Returned it to Walmart
I actually got 2 of these. One came & was missing a piece, so I ordered another & it didn't work. It would just spin the ice around. I maybe got 2 shavings. Not even worth it.
We attempted to make a slushie with this and were very disappointed. It took close to an hour to crush enough ice and by the time we had enough, it was mostly all melted. It's very noisy as well. We ended up returning it to the store.
Unfortunately - the unit I received did not work at all. I can't recommend this to anyone.
I returned it . I use a kitchen aid blender and it is much better than this at crushing ice.
