Great product very happy!!

I've only used the mixer once. I received it today and used it to shred some cooked chicken. It shredded the chicken perfectly on the lowest speed. As others have noted, the first 3 speeds are all slow with little to no variation. I have a large mixer for heavy duty baking so I'm not overly concerned about power. It is lightweight, the beaters are large, sturdy, silicone coated, and fit in either opening! The mixer is extremely quiet and the speed dial adjusts smoothly with one hand. It didn't jump around in the bowl, making it easy to handle. The cord is generous in length and locks left or right. Everything fits in the plastic box without having to reposition multiple times and the mixer snaps right on top. It also has a 5 year warranty!

Love this mixer! It is so powerful and runs very quiet. Loved it so much I purchased one for my daughter. We both do a lot of cooking/baking, and it will be put to the real test!

I like the speed of this mixer but the slow is not slow enough. It splashes the liquid out of what you are mixing because it want slow enough. I will be replacing this with another one that can run slower and giving this one away.

not a fan of the rubber covered mixer paddles. love the mixer except for that

My Hamilton Beach Professional 7-speed electric hand mixer, which I recently received, arrived with a burnt motor, indicating a factory error, I believe. I had to return it to the store because when I plugged it in for the first time, I could smell the motor, which is not normal at all!

It is all about the shipping. The product was ONLY shipped in the packaging that you would find it on the shelf. That is not sufficient for shipping. The picture the delivery driver took of the box did NOT show that the box was smashed and completely opened. This was a christmas gift and I had to give it anyway because I did not have time to re order. I hope it works.

Speeds 2, 4, and 7 are usable. Must use Power Boost on 7 to be able to mix a cake and nothing helps it whip cream sufficiently. I'm a 69 year old very experienced cook and baker, so that's not the problem. The problem is the mixer. I've used it just once since purchased last week. I can't find the instruction pamphlet otherwise I'd return it. It's no more than a paperweight now.
