Must have for serious cooks/bakers!
Love this mixer! It is so powerful and runs very quiet. Loved it so much I purchased one for my daughter. We both do a lot of cooking/baking, and it will be put to the real test!

I like for the slow speed to be slower
I like the speed of this mixer but the slow is not slow enough. It splashes the liquid out of what you are mixing because it want slow enough. I will be replacing this with another one that can run slower and giving this one away.

Factory error
My Hamilton Beach Professional 7-speed electric hand mixer, which I recently received, arrived with a burnt motor, indicating a factory error, I believe. I had to return it to the store because when I plugged it in for the first time, I could smell the motor, which is not normal at all!

It is all about the shipping. The product was ONLY shipped in the packaging that you would find it on the shelf. That is not sufficient for shipping. The picture the delivery driver took of the box did NOT show that the box was smashed and completely opened. This was a christmas gift and I had to give it anyway because I did not have time to re order. I hope it works.
