Hamilton Beach Quiet Smoothie Blender for Kitchen, 40 oz Jar for Smoothies and Shakes, Black

I received this product. It was well packed and good condition. Also I tried to checked to the power. It looked working very well and fast spin. But didn't try with anything yet.

Very good blender/mixer. Perfect for smoothies. Compact, samll enough to have on the kitchen counter. Best of all, its not plastic, but glass!

My last blender was a Hamilton Beach and lasted over 12 years. I was hesitant to buy a blender with a glass jar, but it's not too heavy, easy to clean, and the spout in the lid is really useful. I love this blender!

Loving our new blender. We make a daily pea protein w/frozen fruit smoothie and this works great. When you get it double check that the blade attachment is tightly screwed on...I did not and the first smoothie leaked. Once I tightened has not leaked again. Use a spatula to scrape any frozen fruit keeping it from blending at very bottom. Do not blend continuously beyond 3 min.

Considering the price point, this is a very good blender with an acceptable noise level. I have used it to crush ice and to blend protein shakes. I like the 40 ounce, wide (vs. tall) glass pitcher and the pointed spout, which allows for easy pour directly into water bottles without spillage. The cleanup is amazingly simple. Downside: the top has to be removed to add ingredients bigger than a grape. But that's a small sacrifice for a very good and inexpensive blender.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As in it's name this blender is very quiet. It has a lot of power and easily blends ice and frozen vegetables. Everything blends so smoothly. The lid allows for no mess when pouring out your ingredients. All removeable parts are dishwasher safe allowing for easy cleaning.This is a great asset for any kitchen.

I selected this blender for its glass jar and great price. I also liked that it took up less counter space than my old Ninja unit. Unfortunately, the lid didn't fit on properly from the first try. It appeared to be too big to fit well inside the top of the carafe, popping up on one side or the other when I pressed it down. I returned it and will be looking for another option.

I paid twice as much as I had intended because I wanted a glass bowl and the one I got is plastic, which is not what is claimed in the product.
