This Hot Sandwich Maker gives you endless options to create something delicious! A quick and easy grill cheese, a vegan veggie or a meat filled breakfast sandwich. Preheat with the moveable cooking plate in place, green light appears when temp is ready. I add a slice of bread, buttered side down. Top slice of bread with cheese and ham….then proceed to the next level. I add oil to the top of the moveable plate and pour in lightly stirred egg. Top with buttered bread and close. In about 4-5 minutes, voila…a toasty, premium tasting sandwich! Pull the moveable plate to the side and the egg layer drops onto the bottom ham and cheese layer! Savory results with perfectly toasted bread! There is little noise except for the sizzle when the bread hits the heating plate. Easy to use timer. Beep alert when finished! Put your bread on the bottom tray with some cooked meats on top, put the second tray down, add an egg and another piece of bread, then close it up. Set it for the desired amount of minutes to cook and the light goes off when it's done. Before opening the lid, slid the middle compartment away and your egg and top bread settle just right. Remove with a spatula and you are good to go! Clean up was so easy with a quick wipe with a damp cloth too!

It's super easy to throw together a hot breakfast sandwich in minutes. I use whatever I have on hand and it cooks everything at the same time so it comes out perfect. I love that it's simple to use and is very easy to clean up. It's nonstick so it wipes clean easily. Definitely worth it for a quick meal any time of the day.

This is the perfect size for my small kitchen. It doesn't weigh much either. The only thing is that it doesn't have a power off button or automatic shut off feature. Overall it is very useful and fun to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hot and ready in 5 minutes or less. This Hamilton Beach Sandwich Stacker Hot Sandwich Maker is super convenient and easy to use. It's as simple as putting in a piece of bread, adding half of whatever other ingredients you want, slide the center divider in, add the other half f your ingredients and the other piece of bread. Close the lid, turn it on and set the timer. 5 minutes or less and you have a hot sandwich. It is nonstick, but I've found that using some butter on it helps it not stick more so and adds to the toasting of the bread. From a simple grilled cheese, hot ham and cheese to whatever you can think of, as long as you don't stack too much that the lid won't close, this thing will make you a nicely toasted sandwich. With or without egg. Whatever type of bread you want, so long as it's "standard" sized. Cleanup is a breeze, as the entire heating surface/compartment comes off easily and is dishwasher safe. Controls are straightforward and all indicators are easy to read. This is also very compact and easy to store. If you love a good toasted sandwich, I definitely recommend this Hamilton Beach Sandwich Stacker Customizable Hot Sandwich Maker.

I would review and probably like it, but it was delivered to wrong address. So I guess I have to wait and see if the driver corrects his mistake. I just want a refund now. I'll buy it somewhere else I guess.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this, but after using it for a bit it really didn't work for me. It felt faster to just use a pan or my airfryer. There is no on/off switch. It's pretty annoying to have to unplug every time. Plus it could be a safety issue if forgot to unplug, especially since the top handle gets really hot. I had a really difficult time getting the bread to cook evenly. There is nothing worse than a soggy grilled cheese. If you use anything other than standard sized bread you will need to cut it down. I think with a few tweaks this would be a great little appliance.

I thought it was large enough to fit more than just English Muffins. It is not. I think this is false advertisement. From the picture that Walmart is showing, of the Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker, the cooking area looks larger and could fit more than an English Muffin or a slice of regular bread.
