Hamilton Beach Sandwich Stacker, Hot Sandwich Maker, Compact Storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so I've tried to make a few things already with the Hamilton Beach sandwich stacker hot sandwich maker and I have to admit, I'm not a huge fan of it. The first time I used it, I wasn't aware the plates came out (you'd think I'd read directions before using it, but no). The plates heat up fast, which is nice! If using sandwich makers is your thing, then I highly recommend this one. It isn't horrible, just not something I would use a lot.

Egg ,cheese , bread ,and spices all in under 5 minutes ! Better than the high price of going out !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sandwich maker heated up really quickly! It was an even heat, and it was perfect for quick sandwiches, especially on short lunch breaks. I love that it heats everything separate so that it doesn't make a flat sandwich.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the ease of cooking all of the components of the breakfast sandwich in one place. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out because first, my sourdough bread was much smaller than the bread square and second, I used egg whites. I placed the bread on the bottom tray, then slid the next tray in and outed the egg whites. I had to look up the next step because I wasn't sure if you are supposed to put the bread on top of the raw egg OR your top bread doesn't get cooked…it said to put the top piece on raw egg. I did that, closed the lid and set the timer for 5 and a half minutes. This was the perfect amount of time. I ran into a problem, I could not slide the egg out because the top bread was stuck to it! But once I was able to get it out, the rest came out easily and the sandwich was crispy and the gf cooked perfect. The cheese was nice and melty as well. The unit does stay pretty warm for a while after use so be careful. The unit is very compact and fits perfectly in my cabinet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice sandwich stacker. It was easy to use and very easy to cleanup. Nothing stuck to it. I really enjoyed how perfectly toasted the bread got. This is the perfect size for my small kitchen. It doesn't weigh much either. The only thing is that it doesn't have a power off button or automatic shut off feature. Overall it is very useful and fun to use.

I would review and probably like it, but it was delivered to wrong address. So I guess I have to wait and see if the driver corrects his mistake. I just want a refund now. I'll buy it somewhere else I guess.

While the HB Breakfast Sandwich works GREAT as intended and if you use it everyday the only way to turn if off is to unplug it completely - why not provide an ON/OFF Switch like all other Kitchen Small appliances - if a Competitor adds one then Sales will disappear overnight !!

unit dis no heat oroperly

I thought it was large enough to fit more than just English Muffins. It is not. I think this is false advertisement. From the picture that Walmart is showing, of the Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker, the cooking area looks larger and could fit more than an English Muffin or a slice of regular bread.
