Hamilton Beach Singe-Serve Coffee Maker, Black, 49948

I ordered this after shopping around, and wishing I had ordered sooner, I would have had better coffee and saved a fair bit of money. I received my coffee maker today and found it so easy to use. I ordered the flex brew trio, and am delighted with all of it....the instructions are written in everyday English if you need them. The coffee is HOT...finally a good HOT cup of coffee...the single use is great, it allows you to pick the size if you want 6 oz up to 14 oz, great for the larger mugs or the travel mug..the price is a very nice surprise as well ...thanks..a very satisfied customer..

loved having two different sides .first the K-cup side quit heating or it would say no H2O when there was .now the carafe side wont brew everything lights up like it should but nothing happens miss my coffee maker .This was a gift and I really enjoyed it .

We needed a new coffee maker, and we needed the flexibility of single cup & carafe brewing. The HB FlexBrew does all that, and also is coffee pod (k-cup) friendly as well. EZ setup experience from opening the box. We were up and brewing our first cup within 5 minutes, tried both the single cup with & without a k-cup. Both worked well, coffee tasted great, and was a little warmer than our old coffee maker. Time will tell if this coffee maker holds up to the hard water we have in the NY Finger Lakes region. Our old HB brewer was still going strong at 5 years old, but we clean bi-weekly which helps. Not sure why Hamilton Beach hasn't added a clean me light yet, should be easy enough to do and helps product life. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great coffee maker that can run k-cups, without that fancy "Keurig" price tag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this coffee maker just because it had the carafe on one side and the single cup on the other side, but after my first cup I will be buying Hamilton Beach coffee makers for the rest of my life. The coffee tastes different, more like peculated coffee, it even sounds like peculated coffee when it is brewing. The coffee also comes out hotter than most other coffee makers I just love mine and I am very picky about coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my coffee maker, because on work days I use the pod side for a wake up before work. The ground brew side is good when I am home all day or with family visits. Another bonus this also has auto start up & shut off. No more leaving home and returning to shut it off

A few months in started leaking. Finally figured out how to take it apart.(not recommended) Tubing from pump to top had pulkws loose, clip was above nipple so it was just a matter of time. Works great now. Just looking for a new lid, small hing piece broke.

Purchased this unit to replace our Keurig single serve coffee maker. Liked the idea of the carafe for family get togethers. This was the third time using the carafe and it took forever to brew and fill. So today I made 12 cups of just water and timed it. Shocked that it took just about 18 minutes for the 12 cups. Nothing sure why.

This is the third flex-brew I've owned. I was excited about the new model and was hopeful that it would be more reliable than the other two. Today, it suddenly decided to dump water all over my kitchen counter. I would have handled it better, but I haven't had my coffee yet. Finally looking for another brand. My forever pot is apparently not a Hamilton Beach Flex-brew

I bought this item and just received it today and I filled the water reservoir and placed it in the coffee maker and it flooded my kitchen counter!! I thought maybe it was the way I placed the reservoir in the machine so I tried again and had the same outcome.Typically I do not take the time to leave reviews but I got this coffee maker ,Scheduled the pick up to return it and purchased a Keurig at Best Buy all in the same day!!Save yourself the time ,hassle and money and purchase a different Coffee Maker!!
