This Food Procscallessor is awesome, made a batch of fresh salsa, was so easy to make. I do a lot of canning and this is going to make my canning process so much easier. I have been wanting a food processor forever and am so happy with this one! Besides being a beautiful machine it has so many options with the three blades included and large and small choices on the slicing blades. The instructions included in the booklet are clear and easy to understand. Everything was packed very well and it is so easy to use. I needed a larger food processor cause mine was to small for a family. This is a wonderful machine the cuts are so perfect and as you can see in my photos. I chopped some onions and shredded some cheese and sliced some cucumbers as you can in my photo's and everything came out perfect. This machine saves so much time it helps when preparing meals or baking, it's so easy to clean no food was stuck anywhere. I highly recommend it for a busy family today. This is a powerful little processor. I say little but you have 12 cup capacity (dry) bowl that you use for the ingredients you need prepared. Oh, 8 cups for sauces or dips as well. There are 2 discs for shredding and slicing and of course the chopping blade so that is 3 blades total. This model you ‘snap' together. So not twisting the parts together, you SNAP them in place. The safety features to me a dynamic. FIRST choose the blade or disc. ALL ARE SHARP so be careful. Definitely keep out of little hands. Place the bowl on machine that is not yet plugged in. Then blade or disc. I do a lot of fermentation using onions, carrots, cabbages and peppers. So I used the disc more. These are sharp and it is a fast process. Cabbage for kraut can be a labor but with this, just quarter the cabbage and place in hopper and you are done. BUT first the assembly. Put bowl on base UNPLUGGED. Disc you are using goes on the center shaft. Then place the cover and “snap” it on. You are ready to add your food. I plugged mine in at this point but you decide when. The bowl has pics on what blade/disc to use for what process (chop, slice, shred). There is a fill line on the food hopper. DON'T over fill as your processor will not work properly. Once you are ready and food is in hopper, push the button to process and you are done. Really it is that fast. OK the safety part. The lid MUST be snapped in place or it will not stay down and the processor will not run. The food pusher must be in place and able to go to at least the fill line or the processor will not run. You have a large food pusher and a smaller one that I use for carrots. Shreds carrots like a dream for my kraut. I love this processor and I have used several and even many blenders. This one is my favorite. Lightweight. Easy to Clean. Now there is one place between the food hopper and the bowl side that food can be caught in. Hey just gently nudge the food around with end of chopstick and it comes out clean. Then you can wash it cleanly. That is only area I had trouble cleaning and it was very little problem but needs to be mentioned. Blades clean up easily. Bowl cleans up nicely. Wipe down to base and you are done. Easy. Stores easy too if you want to do that. Love the buttons on front down at an angle so I don't need to bend to see what I am pushing. The bowl is easy to handle and pours out the processed food easy too. YOU will love this one. You will really. I did not give 5 stars on everything because of the area that food can get caught in behind the food chute and the small (very small) difficulty cleaning that area. I purchased this to make baby food. I love it. Easy to use. Very easy to clean. I use it anlot more than I thought. If I had to complain about something, it would be that it does not have the thing to scrap the sides. But thats not a bad thing. I would not pay more for one that has it when I have a simple silicone spatula that does the job even better.

This is so much nicer than any food processor I've had before. It took a little getting used to the differences, but now I am used to it and I use it all the time. It holds more than any of my previous ones. I think I shred more cheese than anything, but it's been great for everything I've done with it.

Sunday dinners in my household are a very big production! There are always a good variety of foods to enjoy, especially the meats(yummy), but chopping and slicing the vegetables and be a task within itself. Enter the Hamilton Beach Stack and Snap Food Processor. This food processor has made my life a lot easier. When I first saw the box with the beautiful picture on it I knew I had to pick it up and give it a try. Although, I never used a food processor before, when I opened the box, I was a little intimidated. I didn't know where to start and how to try and utilize this gadget to my needs. Luckily, there is a very clear, concise and detailed instruction manual. This made me feel at ease. The food processor came packaged very nice and snug, which kept everything safe and I had no damage to the product. Once I took it out of the box, I learned how to dissemble the food processor, so I could wash it and reassemble it for use. Once, I reassembled it, I could wait to use for chopping onions, slicing cucumbers and tomatoes for salads and chopping potatoes for making mashed potatoes. The food processor made chopping the onions and slicing the tomatoes and cucumbers a snap. The 12 Cup capacity allowed me to fit a good number of cucumbers, tomatoes and onions in for chopping. This item may have changed my diet because the ease making vegetables makes me want to eat healthier. The potatoes I chopped had to be small and done in small batches which was not a problem, just an observance. The 3 attachments were easy to use and clean being as though this is dishwasher safe. The four buttons; Off, Slice/Shred, Puree/Mix, and Pulse to Chop are labeled perfectly and easy to use. I thoroughly enjoyed using the food processor. I expected a fairly basic food processor, and that's what I got. Two sizes of food chutes? That's nice, but I would have loved a second slicing/grating disk so that I could grate finer or slice thinner at my option. I don't think that I'd consider this a high end option - Hamilton Beach could easily make other disks for the unit. But what I do have, works well. Stability - the suction feet are quite useful for keeping the unit steady as it slices and grates. I'm not sure how it well it would "stick" whien making dough, but I'm also not trying that as I think it would put a bit more stress on the motor and also the bowl in terms of vibration than I'd like, potentially decreasing the life of the processor. For the same reason, I won't be putting *any* parts in the dishwasher. I've seen premature failure of parts in the bowls of various mini choppers I've used the dishwasher on, and have learned my lesson. Also, just putting sharp things like your good knives in the dishwasher will tend to dull them, so just "nope". The good news is that I've washed the parts pretty easily with just one occurance so far of having to fight to get a bit of stuck food out. I absolutely love that it's stack and snap vs. twist and adjust and curse...;-) I don't know if that will impact longevity but there's no point in having a food processor if it's going to make your kitchen work more frustrating! Which this processor, joyfully, does not. Chopping is somewhat rough but very serviceable for things like cole slaw, if you pulse and watch to make sure you aren't processing it to death. Considering how many higher end processors have ridiculous flaws or mechanical weaknesses, I'll be pretty happy if this unit lasts for a few years.
