I love the design! It's aesthetically pleasing and very functional. It has a delicate setting that is similar to the kids temp hot chocolate at Starbucks for when my kids want a quick cup of hot chocolate during the cold weather. I would definitely recommend this kettle.

I was looking for a clear replacement for my old kettle and everything seems to be so expensive these days so I was happy to find this very reasonably priced unit. It's pretty, it has lots of options for temperatures and I love that it's clear and I can see the water level and the cleanliness. definitely would recommend.

My old kettle stoped working. I quickly found this and it is ten times as good as Ive ever had. I saw this model yrs ago but the price was much higher. This is a great price, great product, just as described, perfect for my 3 pots of loose leaf tea a day. No more burning my fingers testing the temp. for my afternoon Oolong with thermometer as this model sets the temp for me. It has a lovely little beep to let me know when it is done. It will even hold the water warm if I don't need it boiling. Fast shipping.

As an avid tea drinker, this item is a must if you prepare loose leaf tea. The different temps for various teas are well labeled and easy to use. Just push a button and your water will come to the needed temp with a sound indicator that it's ready. It automatically shuts off. The carafe is labed for amount of cups and water needed. The price is very reasonable. I love this item!

My old kettle died and I needed a replacement for my morning tea. This one had the main feature I was looking for: the ability to select a temperature. This feature was a revelation for me in my old kettle! The bonus with this kettle: the clear glass and the fun lights. I am liking this kettle far more than I expected.

Works great and fast! Bought this one to replace an old one. This model has temperature selection and keep warm options which my old one didn't have. Only drawback - plug it into a regular outlet vs. a surge protector strip because it flipped my circuit breaker the first time!

I love this kettle. The different options for tea like black tea, green tea, etc to ensure you get it just right. It looks very sleek and the blue lighting makes it look even better. For me the plus was the keep warm function, I love that! Of course how fast it boils water is also pretty awesome.

This is my second Hamilton Beach kettle. My last one finally died. I like that I can see easily how full the kettle is. All of the other features are the same as my previous kettle, including the various temperature settings, the separate base and the auto-off and keep warm functions. However, this kettle, like my last one, has an issue that may be related my location as I live at high altitude (almost 5,000 feet above sea level). If I choose the Black Tea option, which is meant to bring the water to 212 degrees farenheit, the auto-off function doesn't work. The kettle will continue to boil until it's dry. For this reason I've taken a star off of my review as this is a known issue (it's appeared in other reviews) as hasn't yet been corrected.

I just got the kettle, so I can't comment on its durability. Pros: One of the best designs I've seen in a kettle - two measuring systems on each side, not only liters but cups. If I were picky, I'd want the measurement chart to start with 1 cup. 6 different temperature settings for tea. All glass body, which is much more convenient and visually nicer than metal kettles. Cons: It beeps. I hate it. There is no option to turn off the beeping. It doesn't show the temperature. Both are unpleasant downgrades from my kettle that broke and was discontinued. Some reviews mentioned it broke in a few months, so I got an extended warranty. We'll see how it goes.

The box was ripped and dirty. when i opened the crumbled, nasty tape, the item was used and didn't contain the kettle base or the cord. There weren't even instruction paper or information about the kettle in the box. I had bought this item online and picked it up from walmart.
