My new blender was delivered to my door fast and in perfect condition. I tried a different brand of blender last time and won't make the same mistake twice. So happy to be able to whip up a smoothie in no time. Happy with this attractive low priced blender from Hamilton Beach.

I bought this blender because it has a glass container and advertised pulsing to remove ice chunks. It works as far as its easy to clean and will crush ice. For smoothies, I still have some pieces of ice that have to be chewed. The only real negative that would keep this from being an excellent is the cover on the blender is hard to remove & I'm always a little afraid I might drop it when trying to get it off. Overall it's a good blender and hopefully the blades will remain sharp.

This product got 2 stars because I love the color! I bought this to make smoothies and it is an epic fail in that area....it even has a smoothie setting. I kept having to stop it as it would stop blending. I use frozen instead of fresh fruit and there is no power to this blender at all. I kept having take the lid off to move it around and restart. It took 5 minutes to make a smoothie which should have been done in 50 seconds. Completely regret this purchase

I am not sure what the 'wave action' is supposed to do, but as far as making smoothies and milkshakes is concerned, this isn't the tool for the job. Maybe if you use fruit that has had the skin and seeds removed prior to blending, it might produce better results. As of this moment, it is watching enviously as my coffeemaker and toaster see more usage. Both of which are also (much better) Hamilton Beach products.

I figured you can't go wrong with Hamilton Beach and it came in red which matched my coffeemaker so that was a bonus...except... It does not work very well. The blade sits on a raised base so there is a gap between the bottom of the jar and the blade (not sure if you can tell from the picture). There's always stuff that gets caught in that gap, which then blocks the blade. As a result, fruit and ice cubes do not crush well with this blender. I am always left with chunks of fruit and ice no matter how long I run it and/or shake it to get stuff moved out of that gap. The gap is difficult to reach and clean, yet big enough to trap food. The only thing it seems to blend well is milk and protein powder but I can stir those two by hand. I've had this blender for 4 months and I gave up. Replaced it with a magic bullet like blender and low and behold my smoothies are smooth again.

Do not buy! Only had this blender for 2 months and used a very few times. I tried making a smoothie and this blender started to SMOKE! I had to place the blender outdoors and apparently it is not rare for this blender to smoke according to some research. I contacted Hamilton through email (their call centers are closed because of COVID) for a refund because Walmart does not handle the 1 year warranty. It has been more than 2 weeks and Hamilton has not responded. Very cheap and poor design. You get what you paid for in the end.

I replaced my old Hamilton Beach blender because it finally wore out. This looked to be a similar design with a more powerful ? motor. It does not do nearly as well as my old one. I use it mainly for smoothies. I had to stop it several times to stir and rearrange the contents to get it to blend. The blades just would not pull the veggies (spinach leaves) down to chop them up. I could not see where the pulse helped anything either. Very disappointed in this product. Base is not as heavy as my old one either. It looks pretty sitting on my counter though!! ( Ha) Hopefully I can replace soon.
