The display is large and makes it easy to read the captions. The captioning process is mostly by computer and functions quickly. The call history saves the captioned text. It does have a large footprint because of the large display so it requires more space than the average desk-top phone. Speaker phone has a large speaker and the volume can be turned up louder than a standard desk phone. My hearing was damaged by very loud noises, mostly gunfire, during my time as a combat infantryman in Vietnam many years ago. I will now be able to make appointments myself rather than having my wife do it for me. Lots of functions and options and easy to use.

Unable to connect with tv

the screen on the phone is larger than most, You can set the font for easier reading, and the volume and speaker are very good. Would recommend to to anyone.

Helps my parents alot who are hearing impaired.

Nothing better, I suppose. But it lags behind the conversation and misses too many words to really be highly rated. If you are expecting anything like tv captioning, you will be disappointed.
