Door closer works like it should and was easy to install. It is very good quality. I would highly recommend it to others.

This will be the second screen door cylinder I purchased this year... Good news is that this one is heavy duty... The cylinder itself is larger and has a little quick snap just before the door closes... I believe people where pulling the door too far open before and must have damaged the cylinder internally.. It would close in warm weather but not cold.. This one is bigger and stronger...

This product was just as stated. It is strong enough to make sure the door remains closed even in heavy wind.

We were really happy with the easy installation of this product. Neither my husband or I had replaced this part of a door before and the project was done in about 10 minutes tops (which included reading the instructions). Suuuuuper easy! Thanks Wright Products!

I am so happy to finally have this fixed. Mine old one had been broken for a long time. It was a constant annoyance to everyone in the house. Last night I was having company over for dinner and the part had just come that day and I thought it is a perfect time to fix that door. It took less than 15 minutes to install and be finished. It is a bit "tight" but that is fine. No more screen door banging all night long in the wind.

Kids couldn't seem to close the security door and wooden door, was one or the other so I took the choice away from them. This works great, slows up a little before close so it doesnt slam, couldn't get the kids to do that. Great engineering solution to a human problem. Ordered one for front door now that it proved itself.

Easy to install and adjust.< br>With that being said, it worked very well for just over a year. It stopped closing the door and popping loudly when opening a few weeks ago. Tried to adjust it and then it would just slam the door closed. On the bright side, I contacted the manufacturer and they're sending a free replacement. Only gave 4 stars because a year wasn't long before it stopping functioning correctly. But the customer service from Wright Products was exceptional!

This was a easy install taking less than 10 minutes including drilling the pilot holes.< br>The screws that come with are probably reasonable but my door is very heavy and exposed to significant NE winds (which pulled out and damaged the last closer I had). I chose to use 3.5 inch screws instead to make sure I was locked deep into the frame and beyond. If you are using this on a screen door you shouldn't need anything other than what was provided.< br>Like all pneumatic closers that I have worked with, there is that slam at the end to make sure it latches and has nothing to do with the adjustable closing speed easily refined with a quarter to half turn to the screw on the closer. You can adjust how much of a slam there is by adjusting the bracket on the door (moving it father away) but it still exists and was quite aggressive on this model before I adjusted it.< br>The price is right and it is working well. It's a little sticky opening and opens to just under 90 degrees but hopefully both loosen up with time.
