These are magnetic and perfect for my TK class!

I wanted these to help with a Kindergarten student who is struggling to learn her letter sounds. I thought the magnetic function would be useful, allowing me to display them on a magnetic whiteboard easel. Problem is, these chips do NOT contain a magnet. They do not stick on the whiteboard. They only contain a bit of metal that allows a magnet to adhere to them (like any ferrous metal). Saying they are magnetic is like calling a paper clip magnetic. So I could not use them in any of the ways I had hoped. I still found a way to use them, and they are well-made for what they are. In fact, I would have given them five stars if they had actually been magnetic or had not made the misleading claim of pretending to be magnetic.

Perfect for helping my grandson learn his lower case letters. I do wish that it was an assortment of upper case AND lowercase because there is quite a few chips but they definitely served our purpose.
