I purchased this to help my grandkids learn to focus when they become upset. The instructions are clear and easy to apply. Anyone with preschool kids should buy this useful tool.

I am both a 4K teacher and parent to twins plus one. My twins are 6 and had little interest in this breathing tool, however, some of the children in my classroom really enjoyed the boards during moments of sadness or anxiousness. A first year teacher friend had very similar breathing posters on her wishlist this year for a special needs classroom. I recommend Mindful Mazes for their portability, durability, tactile quality, and the easy to use accompanying teaching guide. She quickly swapped these on her list!

This has worked wonders for my 3yo. We use it anytime he gets worked up (not in trouble though). It has worked alright for my 8yo as well. However, i think the 8yo has kind of aged out of these patterns in particular. Would love for there to be more complex patterns for older kids or adults even.

I have 4 children and the oldest is 6, and the youngest almost 2. The older one isn't interested in this but the middle 2 do happen to like it. It's fun for them but for a short time. They do get bored after about 5 minutes. If you need 5 minutes of quiet time this is a good game to keep them entertained.

Educational Insights Mindful Mazes are bright and colorful. Each side has a different design with arrows that follow through the design for help with mindful breathing. My 2 year old mostly us it for fine motor type skills and follows the shapes around. My 4 year old actually asked to play with them one day when she was upset and needed a break- she tried the rainbow one and tried to follow the breathing arrows (we had used them together once before so she understood how to use them). They also seem like they could be a great classroom tool for younger ages if used together and then allow them to use as needed.

I was honestly skeptical that my kids (ages 2 and 4.5) would really care about this. It's colorful and made of thick durable plastic. There's a different design on each side of the cards. We did it at bedtime when we first received it to calm down after playing outside. My 4 year old asks to do it most nights before laying down to sleep. She only does it for 5-10 minutes before being done with it for the night, but that's perfect for bedtime wind down activity. A surprising win!
