I didn’t have a job for over a year and I felt so awful that I couldn’t even get gifts for my family and friends. My brother, he’s been having a rough go of it and mentioned wanting a journal like the one I was able to find here and order to his front porch. He was impressed and absolutely elated during a time he really needed to feel some joy, and it helped remind him that he is and has been and will always be worthy of nice things.

The journal has a vintage feel with thick paper. The ink does not go through the paper.

This leather bound journal is very well made. The pages are very secure, and the leather cover isn’t flimsy. The leather strap that is used to secure and close the book is also very sturdy with a cool metal key attached to the end. The paper that is used looks old and distressed. It’s thick enough that the ink from my fountain pen did not penetrate through to the other side. It would make an awesome journal or even a really neat memory book. It’s attractive enough just to set on a table as a decoration. I’m very happy with my purchase.
