Hanes Big Men's Tagless Short Sleeve Tee

5 stars for color. 1 star for fit! I needed this exact color of shirt to go with my favorite pants. I bought 8 maroon shirts everywhere online hoping for a match. But this Hanes was the ONLY correct color. However, Hanes didn't HAVE it in women's or in smaller men's sizes. Lucky me! I can sew! So I bought the remaining XXXXLg men's size, and easily cut out a perfect shirt for myself. Great match! What do you think? Yes, I'm old- 76! Girls in my generation ALL knew how to sew!

I 've owned this 'type' of Hanes T-shirt for years. Bought several at a time - several times. The previous ones were always 'tagless' - these are NOT tagless. Furthermore - the cotton in this batch is much stiffer than previous batches - even after laundering with fabric softener.

Scratchy and not soft as I would expect. Shirt feels to be made from less than 100% cotton and it feels stiff. I cannot put my finger exactly on what is different from other shirts I have. Shirts for me had to definitely be washed prior to wearing. I tried one without washing and I had a small reaction under my arms. I washed them all but just not sure. The colors are great, I got almost all the colors. Bright and vibrant, just unsure if it is the dye or material that is/was irritating.

T Shirt material was much thinner than I have had in the past and I have worn Hanes Beefy T's for well over 20 years. In addition, I bought and paid for 10 and when I opened the package and felt the quality, I immediately requested a return slip, which was provided, but when the credit came through i was only given credit for 8 T shirts. The amount of the 2 extra shirts was not significant, but this has left me with a very unfavorable impression and will not purchase Hanes products in the future

First, the quality of these shirts is amazing for the price, actually, it's amazing period. The issue I have is that they aren't sized right. I'm a big guy, I bought "big and tall". The issue is that they are both "big" and "tall" not either or. I was hoping this issue would not be so glaring when I got them but unfortunately it is. Hey Hanes, this may be news to you, but not all "tall" guys are fat, and not all "fat" guys are tall. This is why other brands have XLB and XLT sizes. In case you don't understand that "extra large big" and "extra large tall".

honestly, these shirts are terrible. I got them because my True Classic, which feel great, have bad collars so I figured I'd give Hanes a shot. First, the sizing is all off. The shirts fit like tents, no conforming to normal size bodies. Second, the shirts feel like burlap. Terrible quality of material. I washed them to see if it made a difference and it did not. I already gave these away to good will.

The sleeves were really strangely shaped and oddly attached - the bottom of the sleeve was way down the body of the shirt, well below the underarm area, and there was a fabric bulge in the shoulders when I held my arms straight out. In addition, the fabric was completely different than that used on previous versions of this shirt that I already own, and was not a nice-feeling fabric at all. Over the past couple of years, quality of t-shirts and underwear has greatly declined, and product is totally inconsistent from one order to the next and made in many different countries - I probably won't be ordering again.

Disappointed. For a 100% cotton shirt this sure is stiff and scratchy. The crew neck also puckers where it's sewn into the shirt. This after just one wash. I haven't even worn the shirt. Not sure I'm going to. Plus ordering direct from Hanes wasn't any better than a retailer. In fact after getting my order confirmed, and then waiting for delivery I was told one item wasn't available. Why then was I allowed to order it? Weird.

I ordered six shirts... two light gray, two medium gray, and two dark gray. The material was different in all three pairs, and they were differing degrees of stiff and scratchy, not the soft cotton as expected. I won't wear them, even after washing. Beware the cheapest Hanes T-shirt. I really don't think Hanes should sell them.

I had some Hanes tees from many years ago that were a soft,comfortable fabric andheld up well over time. They dont make them like that anymore. The fabric was very rough cotton and it did not soften with washing. It felt just awful against my skin. The finishing was poor. And the shirts shrank with the first washing. The sizing was already running a bit small. Basically in comparison to the past quality, these were awful. Would rather them be more expensive and made like before.
