Hanes Essentials Women’s T-Shirt, 100% Cotton Classic-Fit Tee

Being in the market for some new T-shirts, I decided to give these a try. So I purchased a couple of them from Hanes.com. The variety of colors available was a pleasant surprise.The sizing was accurate, and I found it comfortable to wear. It's a quality garment!

I love this T-Shirt. It fits well and appears to be well-made. You can wear it on its own or s a layer in colder weather. I own a couple of these and likely will buy more.

Simple, classic, true crew neck t-shirt. Love them. If you find a color you love, buy a few more. The colors don't stay around from one year to the next.

As a short waisted person, this is nearly perfect. Maybe a 1/8 to 1/4 too long. And, it is cotton which doesn't cling when spandex/lyrca does (no longer have a girlish figure). Am a size 12-14, but ordered XL, because of large shoulders. Generally wash in cold water to make certain it won't shrink. Love it. At the time, price was good, too.

Nice t shirts. All we're medium. Two fit well and one was definitely smaller. You could see when you compared them to each other. I will keep as the price was very good and colors are as depicted.

I've always worn the "comfort wash" style size S, which I thought was women's sizing. The Essential style size S is VERY small. Has Hanes changed sizes? If a style is Unisex, please mark it as such.

I like the shirt. The fit and the feel of the cotton shirt. But i really hate the neckline. It's too big. Actually I was thinking of returning it bit have no time to do that.

The color was a darker than portrayed in the picture, not a soft melon color at all. I washed in cold on delicate cycle and dried on the lowest temperature, however it still shrunk 1 to 2 sizes. I have other Hanes t-shirts and this did not happen before.

I'm very disappointed in these T-shirts. Based on another buyer's recommendation, I bought a size larger. I purchased 4 shirts, two made in the US, two in Honduras, supposedly all are 100% cotton. Before wearing, I did an initial wash in cold water, dried on low setting. All 4 shirts shrunk a surprising amount. The second time I washed them, they shrunk even more! The fabric felt nice in the package, but after washing (and using fabric softener), they're scratchy.

The material now is rough and very uncomfortable to the body. I've been using Hanes cotton tees in the last maybe 20 years and they were all soft and comfy.
