Hanes Essentials Women's T-Shirt Dress, Cotton Light Steel

I've been retired for a number of years and literally live in my sleep shirts. I'm finally replacing the Hanes one size fits all sleep shirts that I've had for well over ten years. They are the great Hanes quality that we know and love, and they are 100% cotton so they wash and dry perfectly. Highly recommend these!

Absolutely love this little throw on gown/dress. I have bought one in every color for sister and and myself as well as extras in black. I use it as a throw on dress, pearls and head on errands, wear it around the house all day. it is darling. throw a sweater over your shoulders and cute pair of shoes and it becomes a great little dress. wish you made more colors.

This product is exactly as I had hoped. I was looking for something very roomy and comfy to wear around the house. I purchased five of them. I don't think I would wear these out of the house. For me, they are an excellent house dress. They are also perfect as something in which to sleep.

Honestly, we have not used this as a dress, and I don't know that I would - however, we ordered four to be nightgowns for my Mom while she was in hospice. Two were used for that purpose - which means that they were cut halfway down the back for easy on/off of a patient unable to help with dressing. The other two I will use as nightgowns. Mom found them comfortable and was much happier with them than she was with hospital style gowns as they offered her more modesty. This is probably a review that Hanes was not expecting.

It's a big t-shirt and if that's what you're expecting, then it's great! It's much bigger than I expected (I normally wear a M or L) and I hope it will continue to get softer with every wash. Works great for pajamas, but I don't think I'd use it for anything else.

Love this dress! Its very comfortable and I wear them everyday around the house, however, 2 of the three I bought had seams loosen during the first wash.

Product was fine. Description misleading. One size fits MOST would be a more apt description. I will keep the products as I'm losing weight and will be able to wear them soon but I probably wouldn't have bought them had I been in a store and could see the actual size.

I purchased three sleep shirts from Hanes about five years ago and loved them. The were easily generous 3X, very soft and better weight fabric. The sleep shirts this time are not nearly as nice. The fabric is lighter and coarse even after two washings. If you are larger than a 1X seriously doubt you could wear them. I will would not recommend. Since I have them I will wear to slum around the house but not for sleeping due to the coarse fabric and size. I prefer my sleep wear very large and soft. I am guessing the quality was lowered to maintain lower price. Personally, I would prefer to pay a little more and have the same quality as the first sleep shirts I ordered five years ago. Disappointed with my purchase.

I have very sensitive skin and was looking for 100% cotton nightgowns for a reasonable price. I figured I'd give these a try and hope for the best. They are very rough, very awkwardly shaped, and are poor quality. I am going to try to make myself nightgowns out of the fabric so they don't go to waste and hope washing them a few more times will soften them up. I haven't been able to wear them at all as is.

I read the description, 'based on 3x' one size fits all, and was eager to try the shirt. Finding a cotton shirt to lounge in has been an ongoing search. Sadly, I found that the description wasn't correct and the one size fits all label was based on size 3. I returned the item.
