My husband absolutely loves these Hanes long sleeve shirts when working outdoors. We recently had alot of trees and branches come down due to the ice storm we had. These shirts help keep my husband warm and saves his arms from getting scratched and cut while doing clean up work. The shirts are great quality and virtually no shrinkage after washing. Highly recommend and will definitely order again and again.
280lb 6' woman bought 3XL fit comfy with extra room for swinging arms when walking. Absorb sweat in 90 degree weather, so armpits don't feel all sweaty, yay cotton, protects arms when outdoors to not have eczema flare ups on forearms. I bought a 4pk for $25 I will buy again when these thin out probably a couple years
I love the T-shirts. They fairly fit good but there's only thing wrong with it. They tend to rip underneath the armpit so just keep an eye on that they're great.
They come with a tear out label (for comfort), After taking them out there is no way to tell front from back except the shoulder seams. Otherwise great value for price. I bought 8!
I needed a cotton base layer for my work gear. These appear to be well made and seem to be holding up to several washings so far. I will probably purchase again.
They hold up well to a teenage boy . they became homemade band shirts and came out great. Held the ink well. wash well too.
These shirts were a great buy, accurate sizing and fairly comfortable but a bit scratchy - cotton is usually softer.
👎 The ones I received are polyester blend - not 100% cotton. The material didn't feel like the cotton ones I've bought in the past, so I washed them hoping they'd soften up. Nope. I checked the tag afterward and was disappointed to see they're actually a cotton/polyester blend, not 100% cotton as advertised. If you're specifically looking for true 100% cotton, the Light Steel color is a hard pass.
Watch out, very strange design, I've bought tons of Hanes long sleeve's before, but this one they changed the design, thin material, the neck opening is awkwardly larger, leaving the top of your back, bare, the shoulders are smaller, and it is two inches longer, making it look weird. this looks more like some sort of woman's shirt. unusable for me.
I wanted to like the Hanes Essentials Men's Cotton Long Sleeve T-Shirts, especially given the value of the 4-pack and the fact that they're 100% cotton. However, the fabric is so stiff and rough that I find them unwearable—even with an undershirt on. I understand that freshly manufactured cotton garments might have some residual starch or sizing that contributes to stiffness, and that there are steps I could take to soften the material (like multiple washes or fabric softeners). But I don't think I should have to go to such lengths just to make a basic cotton shirt comfortable enough to wear. For a brand like Hanes, I expect better out-of-the-package comfort—especially from a product marketed as an everyday essential. If you're looking for shirts that are immediately soft and wearable, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
