Hanes Men's Beefy-T Unisex Pocket T-Shirt, Sizes S-3XL

I was looking for the t-shirts which can be comfortable and simple design and has a pocket on the chest so this is exactly which I was looking for. I bought 4 colors, white, green, royal blue, black in Medium size. Summer will be gone by soon but I guess I will put on these until autumn season.

The shirts are perfect and well made. Typical Hanes high quality product. What I didn't like was the tags in the back. YES, not one but two (2). One tag is extremely long and itchy. It detracts from the overall comfort of the best shirts.

I liked the 6oz fiber content of these Beefy T's, however the overall quality could be better. The elastic in the collars wears down after just a few washes and don't hold shape. First 2 of these that I had purchased were irregular as the collars were actually sewn very small as though for a smaller size (see photos). Purchased these in the green color, other colors in photos were only to demonstrate irregularity in the collars. Take notice how the green T's collars seem to be smaller and gathered in the stitching as opposed to that of the other two colors I purchased directly from Hanes. Contacted Wm customer service about this and was offered a replacement without return, however I only received one replacement although I originally ordered 2. Contacted Wm CS again about this and they refunded me with a gift card for the purchase price of one which is useless to me because I seldom shop from Wm online and it will probably expire before I have the chance to use it. Should also mention that I had contacted Hanes directly and was informed that due to lack of sales these Beefy T's Style 5194 have been discontinued, should I be surprised...

The black shirts I bought are perfect. Pockets are reinforced, the shirt itself fits like a glove without restricting range of motion. The red shirt I bought is lighter than what is displayed here. It looks almost neon.

Disappointed that right out of the dryer these Beefy-T Shirts roll up on sleeves and at the bottom. I have to iron them.

. I've been looking for good pocket t-shirts for a while and ran across the Hanes Beefy-Tees. I am all of 5'6" and about 140 lbs dripping wet. I ordered 3 medium Tee's and when the arrived I put one on and thought I found the perfect shirt. So I ordered 3 more. Then I washed them in cold water and dried them on very light temps. After that wash they seemed to have shrunk be about 1/2 to a full size. I have to stretch them to get them on and they fit skin tight. The chest, the shoulders and the sleeves shrunk the most. When I got the other 3, I compared the washed shirt with the unwashed and the difference was very visible. I wanted to exchange them for a large size, but the cost of the return made that impractical.

First, the main shirt material that is 100% cotton for the colors that I buy feels soft and high quality.  However, the overall quality of the shirts I received was not good.  I returned many of them. Advertised claim: "Today it's better than ever - more durable, and with even less shrinkage." Nope, not less shrinkage.  These shirts used to be labeled as 100% Preshrunk Cotton.  Now they say 100% US Cotton (no mention of prescribe), but I had many shrink on the first wash, washed cold and tumble dried extra low.  See attached photo - I could barely squeeze my head through the neck of some of them, size L, which is the size I have always gotten from Hanes. Advertised claim: "Double-needle, cover-seamed, lay flat collar keeps its shape wash after wash." Nope, not for most of the 18 shirts I purchased in two orders!  Some of the collars bent in half, folding over forward from the neck after only a few hours wear.  Double-needle, cover-seamed?  They used to be, like photos on their website and the attached photo of a purchase from a few years ago show. But as you can see in another attached photo, the neck collar of new ones I just bought and returned is poorly sewn on with the main shirt material unevenly gathered or bunched at the seam, making them unsightly. The tagless label that they used to have in these shirts was a nice feature, but now Hanes is using not one but two very stiff tags, both of which are have sharp corners that curl toward the back of the neck. Imagine that. The pockets are nice to have, but they are too short (and have been for years).  Although the size of the pocket varies a little from one shirt to another, a standard retractable ballpoint pen usually won't fully clip into the pocket unless you stick it in diagonally.

I bought a half dozen of these shirts for work. The fit was good, fabric thick, long enough to stay tucked in. After the first wash the hem on the bottom completely unraveled. I wear my work shirts tucked in, so it's still functional as a work shirt, but I won't be buying other shirts from this site or it's partners.

Only worn the shirt twice and the arm pit area has a big hole in it. I do have older Hanes t shirts the have ripe out in the same place but at least it normally takes a couple of months.

One shirt was not what I ordered! The content of one package is not of the same color with the other one which was Hanes, Black, Heavy Duty, pocket T-Shirt. This was my specific Order! The other one was Hanes, Blue, T-Shirt and pocketless.
