Hanes Men's Crew Socks, 12-Pack

I bought these socks for my husband. Buying socks for him is not easy. He always has difficulty finding socks that don't have a thick stitch near the toes that dig into the top of his foot. These have not had that issue. He is very pleased with them and will most likely purchase in the future.

Bought these for my son. They fit well, wash well and are comfortable.

The description says "cotton" and nothing else, so I had hoped that the fabric content would be similar to Hanes socks that I have bought before. No such luck. On a label showing content and country of origin (El Salvador), it says 50% cotton, 49% polyester, 1% spandex. So, roughly 50/50. Interestingly, the label was mostly covered by another label, but you could still see the edge and peel the outer one back to see all the details. So the fabric has that crawly polyester feel to it instead of the warm, absorbent, substantial feel of all cotton. Sigh. I would not have bought it had I known the true content up front.

Maybe it's me, and it has been awhile since I've purchased Hanes Crew Socks. But the material doesn't feel as smooth/comfortable as my older pair against my skin. Different blend?, cheaper blend? Who knows.

You lied about the product. 100%cotton it said. Reality was that they were 50% cotton!!!
