These socks go up high enough to cover the calf and they stay put. The compression feature of them really do help to keep my legs from swelling up. Also, the neuropathy I have had in my lower legs for year seems to be abating. I've been wearing a pair every day since I got them and the burning toe bones that kept me awake at night for years have not revisited me since I've been wearing the socks all day - and all night. I'm currently 69 years old and have suffered from the neurotherapy numbness in my legs and burning toes sine 2009.
I was pleasantly surprised at the compression level for these socks being that they were inexpensive. I have bought many of the years from various merchants but these were like wow. I knew as soon as I slipped on the first pair tat the compression was going to be as good or better than over priced items you see on tv ads. will buy more
These socks are a life saver. I use these as my work socks. My fert used to hurt so bad by the end of my shift, but not anymore. I also really love jow they keep my feet warm and legs warm and comfortable.
Comfortable and durable. Gentle compression prevents edema during the day and night. Soft cotton is non-irritating and doesn't cut into your skin at the top near the knee. Great price %26 value.
I really like these compressions socks. I stand for most of my 8-10hr workday and certainly notice a difference on days when I don't wear them. I like them because they seem to have just the right amount of compression to be comfortable for longer than some other Ms I have tried. I have full muscular calfs and often compression socks with roll and become too tight just at my knee and this cuts off the circulation making them painful but not these.
These feel like a great big hug for your feet. I was surprised by all the elastic and stitches features in the arch and foot. A pleasant surprise. Thicker material pads at top and back of ankle to protect against shoe rubbing. They thought of everything, ontop of the compression purpose. I bought them for myself but my husband saw me wearing them and was jealous and wanted the other pair in the pack.
I purchased these for my son, the firefighter. I wanted quality socks for him to wear when he is on/off duty. These are an exceptional quality sock and I am very pleased with them. I wish they offered them in white (as well for the price) so I could purchase more.
Hubby is a diabetic, so he really needs compression socks. He's definitely not going to go for the Ted hose style. He can wear these as his everyday socks. He tells me they're super comfy. He wouldn't wear them otherwise. He's a bit of a sock afficionado. These keep his feet from swelling and hurting by end of day. They're affordable and seem to last as long as any others he's tried. They're a great idea for anyone who's going to be on their feet a lot. They really help. You might be surprised how much a good sock can change your day. Highly recommend!
I've been looking for compression socks, and WalMart had these available for a great price. The packaging is more generic, but the socks are labeled as Hanes. Overall, the compression works well, however, the foot part of the sock is a bit longer than a normal sock. I think if you have long feet, or maybe wide feet, these will fit fine. If your feet are of normal length and width, then the feet part of the sock may not fit as well. Overall, for the price I purchased them for, it was a good purchase, and would recommend these socks to most people (except those with small feet).
These Socks run Very small. I bought the 6-11 %26 these feel like child socks but are very long. Way too tight for my calf muscle and I am lean. I can't get them to my knee. These are l/Xl i had them on while filling this out and had to take them down toward the ankle because they cut the circulation off the lower calf muscle. going to order bigger ones. i ordered 3 for $5.00. i van donate these to the kids up the street.
