I'm honestly shocked. I wasn't looking for this kind of sock but they are now my favorite kind i own. they are breathable and loose. I haven't had any problems with them being damp from the day inside my shoe. my more expensive socks are damp constantly, which is the biggest problem I have with them.
These are very nice comfortable socks and well made. My only gripe here that took away 1 star was that they are shorter than the picture shows and do not go up much above the ankle. Another 2 inches would have been perfect. Guess they don't make things like they used to. It appears they were cutting corners on the material. Overall tho, they are worth the money and a good sock.
I've been wearing this style of Hanes socks for many years and, while I still enjoy them, like many people I feel that the material contents have changed. According to the packaging they are now 50% cotton, 49% polyester and 1% spandex. I don't have any old labeling to compare them too, but I have to think they used to contain more cotton. They're still good overall.
I buy these socks every year for my husband for Xmas. This year they seemed to be much lighter in weight 🤔 shrinkflation? Cheapflation? They're definitely different. However, on the upside, Walmart delivery was fast and accurate as usual!
I have been purchasing and wearing Hanes crew socks for years and was disappointed to discover that these were not as soft and cushy as socks I have purchased in years past. It's my guess that Hanes has cheapened out their product by using thread of an lesser diameter and quality. Will think twice next time before purchasing more. I suppose that's just the way things are these days...take the cheap way out to keep the price attractive rather than make a good product that people will spend a little more to enjoy.
Bought same product one yr ago. The socks are designed too thin. Wear out on bottom too quickly. It used to be socks were designed with higher quality and longer life. Made this purchase of socks due other products purchased. Where are socks quality that used to be there? When these wear out, in a manner of months, can they be returned for replacements? Product warranty?
These socks are not worth wasting your money to buy! I purchased two packs, and after wearing a pair maybe twice, I literally threw all the socks from the two packs I purchased in the trash. They are very thin, rough, and do not stretch, or when you stretch them to fit over your foot, I noticed the new socks showed holes near the ankles. Don’t bother buying these!
When I purchased these socks in the past they were thick and would stay up on my leg all day. Don't know what happened but now they are ridiculously thin. I could go on and on about how disappointed i was about this purchase but to make a long story short. I will never purchase again.
These are the WORST socks I've ever purchased. Super THIN and uncomfortable. I used to like hanes socks, but these are horrendous. Avoid these socks if you're looking for comfort, they do NOT provide comfort. With them also being so thin, durability certainly comes into question, although I wont find out because I'll return these and NEVER buy hanes socks again.
I’m not sure what happened but there’s sock are not the same quality they used to be. Do not buy them. I washed them before wearing and they are full of pills and threads from the first wash. They are thin and very poor quality. Hanes is going downhill. I have been buying from Hanes for years but will no longer purchase these socks.
