Hanes Women's Crew Socks, Cushioned, 10-Pack, Size 5-9

These socks are very comfortable and soft. Just the right amount of stretch to get on your foot easily. I wear them with my hiking boots, really nice socks. They go up to my calves, which I scrunch them downwards. Very happy with them and cat approved!

First of all, I wear a Women's size 8.5 shoe %26 ordered the larger size socks. I'm glad I did. The bag says they're for shoe sizes 8-12, which isn't clear in the product listing. These fit perfectly fine with minimal stretching. I got them below their regular price, and for 10 pairs of socks, it was a very good bargain. They're pretty comfortable out of the bag.

I like the fit and that they don't change the look of the socks. I rebuy these same multipack socks periodically so I don't have to bother with sock matching detail and they hold up fairly well over time. Heels or toe area usually blow out first, but they last a long time usually before that happens.

These socks were a great buy for the value while on sale, they are a bit thinner than I'd like, better for summer or any kind of work out where you'd like your feet to breathe better. The 5 to 9 definitley felt more like a 5 to 7 so I'd size up if you are an 8 or better in shoes like me. Not much in terms of cushioning of any kind and again in a cooler season you will definitley have cold feet in them.

Hanes quality downgraded over the years. Used to be longer lasting, 100% cotton and made in the USA. Now after a few wears and washes, thins out and holes in the heals. Made in El Salvador. Fine quality now lacks. Independent shops now gets our business.

These socks were advertised as 100% cotton. They are not. The socks are 53% polyester and 46% cotton. The remaining 1% is elastic or nylon. I do not like polyester.

A bag with a hole in it, that was taped up was picked for my pick up order on 7/13/26. I opened the bag and there were only 9 pairs rather than 10 pairs. I don't understand why this bag of socks were even put back out on the floor to be resold. And why did the person that picked my order pick the opened and short bag? Very unacceptable %26 I am very disapointed

searched TIRELESSLY for 100% COTTON SOCKS, WHICH IS WHAT I WAS TOLD THESE WERE, AND THAT THEY WERE MADE IN THE USA, GUESS WHAT, NEITHER WAS CORRECT. THERE'S A STICKER OVER THE REGULAR ONE THAT SAYS "MADE IN EL SALVADOR" AND LISTS THE LESS THAN 10% COTTON THAT THESE UNCOMFORTABLE SOCKS ARE MADE OF! I'M VERY PRONE TO SENSITIVITY FROM MAN MADE FABRIC, THIS MAKESHIFT SOCK EXCUSE MADE MY FEET GO NUMB! I ASKED FOR A REFUND, WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD RECEIVE IT IN MY EMAIL AND ACCOUNT, I'M STILL WAITING FOR THAT ALONG WITH THE TWO FREE($10 X'S TWO) DELIVERY EXPRESS DELIVERY REFUNDS I'M SUPPOSED TO HAVE GOTTEN FROM THE TWO TIMES THE "SPARK DRIVER" FORGOT A BAG OF MINE AND THE TIME THEY CHARGED ME FOR IT AND THEY WERE OVER THREE HOURS! I'LL PROBABLY FIND A PAIR OF COTTON SOCKS BEFORE I ACTUALLY GET MY REFUND PROMISED AFTER BEING ONLINE AND ON THE PHONE WITH WALMART FOR TWO HOURS PLUS!!!!

Hanes! What happened here, bud?! Day one- they're already quitters?! (won't stay up) I hate quitter socks!.. To be expected over time, but didnt even make it a few hours before I had to pull them up. Ew! They are overall much thinner, the bottom "cushioning" isn't there anymore. The sock looks ok, but when you get it on, the bottoms feel like they're inside-out or something...like rougher more textured that is normally on the inside-I dont know how to explain it. But the "comfy, cozy new socks" I expected and looked forward to...nah. I'm so bummed and disappointed! I haven't bought socks in a few years because the last batch held up so well! These will certainly not last long. I already washed all of them, so now I have a pile of yucky socks . I felt like writing a "Letter to the Editor" I was so upset when I put the first on one. Is "Hanes quality" no longer a priority to the company?

The listing claims the socks are 70% cotton but they're only 45% cotton. Hanes has decided to cheap out even further. First they dropped the cotton % to 70% and now 45% . Where does it end. Next year they will be all polyester. I thought the whole idea about Hanes is that you make your stuff out of cotton. I won't be buying anymore socks from you anymore.
