Hangman No Stud Smart Device Shelf, Black, SMS-K, for Streaming Devices and Small Cameras

This No Stud smart device shelf is just right for the different smart devices that need a secure place to sit. The installation is super easy. I did mine in about ten minutes. It comes with everything needed other than a small hammer and a marking pencil. The design makes finding a wall stud or using drywall anchors unnecessary. A bracket mounts to the wall and the shelf fits into the bracket. It even comes with a small bubble level that slides into the bracket so your installation is level. The holes in the bracket for the nails keep them at the right angle for a sturdy mount; much like a picture hanger bracket. The shelf is roughly 6 inches square with a hole for wires to pass through. The bracket and shelf are aluminum with a powder coating. Looks good and sturdy. The shelf is rated at 15 pounds. I don't know of any smart devices that way that much. I'm using mine near my bed for my time, date, temperature, humidity device. Works great. I can recommend this.

This is a very lightweight and easy to install small metal shelf. It works great for my streaming device that's not bigger than my head. It comes with four nails that do not need a stud to support the bracket. So easy. It took just a few minutes and it can face up or down. Now I don't need anymore double sided tape to hold my device. Love it.

Got to say that this is a neat but yet highly simple install design. The product and quality is spot on perfect and durable..... Looks stylish but yet simple.....works and hold my Alexa speaker With ease ......took literally under 15 minutes to install....no drill needed .... Just a couple simple tools .....a must get and have item for any Smart device shelf.....perfectly hides the cord.... Just love it

Handy little shelf! I was concerned about the "no stud" for hanging, but it went in and stayed right where I put it just fine. Including the level is a nice touch. It held an iPad for charging. My only dislike is that when I unplug the device, the cord falls down to the floor through the hole on the shelf. I may add a Velcro piece to anchor the cord, or maybe find a command holder for it. If you have a older house where all the outlets are down low, this is helpful to keep devices at a comfortable level.

This shelf is exactly as describes, very easy installation process and easy to follow instructions. Everything needed (Minus Hammer) is included even a level. I like how you can change the look just by reversing the shelf. I recently installed this in our camper to go above my son's bed for his phone and portable mini speaker. However, I keep reminding him that there is a weight limit of 15ibs I'd advise not to go over it because it isn't nailed into a stud. It does exactly what it's made for.

It's a good quality item for sure I just Don't know how useful it will be to me. I usually just put my phone on my nightstand ,but this will definitely get it out of the way in a place that will help you remember where you left your phone. Comes with everything including a level. Solid metal components.

This is a nice looking matte black metal shelf. I'm not sure why it has a hole in it, though. I love that it includes the level so you hang it straight. It's very sturdy as it includes 5 or 6 nails to hang the rail, then the shelf hangs on the rail. Very stable.

Overall, I am pleased with this no-stud wall shelf. Until I received it, I did not realize that it is designed specifically (and handily) to accommodate a plug-in electronic device. One can feed the charging cord through the oval opening; this allows the device to sit squarely on the shelf without being awkwardly tilted up because the cord interferes. I will not use the shelf for any of my several electronic devices. I intend instead to display a 7"x10" canvas print on it. I like the versatility of the shelf, by the way. One can position it against the wall so that the wall portion is taller (longer) OR make that portion the base. I will do the latter for stability's sake. I recommend that, if you do wish to use the shelf for displaying a curio or a picture, place some sort of adhesive against the base so that the item does not shift or fall. I have given this no-stud shelf 4 stars rather than 5 because of the series of small nails that are to be pounded into the wall. I am a renter and so will need to consult with my landlord before mounting this shelf. A particular nice feature, by the way: The shelf looks very nice! I have it mounted against a very pale yellow wall.

When I went to mount this shelf, the nails included in the package were too big and I had to ffind some of my own that were smaller in order to mount the shelf. I was able to find some nails small enough, so that was okay. However, as you can see from the photo, my cords for my WiFi were too non-flexible and, even though my WiFi unit is less than 6", it doesn't quite fit on the shelf. I will make it work, because, at least, the WiFi unit is off the table which gives me more room. Okay item, seems pretty stable, not for anything very heavy.

Delivery for items has become a huge issue. This item never even shipped. Had a tracking number that didn't exist and took multiple calls to get reaolved and money back. Not the first transaction like this from them lately, sadly. Defintely influences who I make my online purchases from.
