I was thinking it was more of a heavy material, but it is perfect for what I'm using it for - a base for my three battery operated candles. It's very lightweight. Having said that, I will probably be ordering another one for my battery operated candles in the bedroom. It works for me but may not for everyone if you think it's a heavy weight material.

I love the size. It has a beautiful rustic color. I put felt pads on the bottom so it won’t scratch the table. Looks great with my table.

this is very cute and sturdy, bought it as a gift and my friend loved it! i actually ended up buying myself a rectangle one because it was so cute for the price. the only dislike I had was the seams holding it together are very visible. i ended up using a wood stain marker on mine and its flawless now, nothing a quick touch-up couldn't fix!

it was far nicer than I expected. it had a nice finish, feel and look. it looks so good on my boho table cloth and can't wait to start collecting decor to put in it.

Dislikes: quality is poor. Wood is extremely dry. Visible where small strips of wood were glued together. I had to spend money for a wood polish sealer. I feel cost should have been way less. Likes: if you want light weight this is it. Rustic. Small so good for small spaces. Wood with patterned grain. Pictures are after I polished and sealed wood

This thing is very small!
