A Beautiful, solid yet affordable Kneeler/ Prei Dieu for praying upon that is very comfortable for me, a 72 yr old Consecrated Religious to use. The kneeler lifts up to fold it closed for small apace needs. its light wt enough to move and carry into various rooms. And it had EXCELLENT ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS and took me, who is slow at assembly about 2 hours or less to assemble it. AND, it came with well labeled parts and hardware fasteners and with even an extra screw or dowel etc for most hardware parts, so you are not stuck with a major problem if one screw or camlock or dowel etc junked out on you during assembly. It REALLY is a Marvelous design. I sm about 5 ft 2 inches and it works extremely well for me to kneel on it and lean onto the top of the large and sturdy prayer table part of this kneeler. I simply can't express enough gratitude to the designers and manufacturers of this Prei Dieu and for the very AFFORDABLE PRICE! I would strongly encourage EVERY Christian to purchase one of these Prei Dieu's for yheir home...and also I highly reccomend these to churches and Religious Organizations and Retreat Centers and Catholic Churches for Eucharistic Adoration. It makes for easy portability and easy storage if you need to set up conferences involving Eucharistic Adoration rooms at any large or small Conference Center! I hope and pray thst Every Catholic and every other Christian , and everyone who believes in praying humbly to God, will buy one for their home. For God honors the prayers in a most merciful and abundant and powerful way...of those Who humble their hearts AND who FALL TO THEIR KNEES IN HUMBLE, PRAYERFUL ADORATION! Great and sturdy prayer bench for the value. Would like more padding for the knees, other than that it is a beautiful piece.

After reading a review, I decided to purchase this product due to the recommendation in said review, however, the product was not and is not as presented on the website or in the mentioned review. It is made of wood and all of the hardware and tools for assembly are included, which are both pluses. After assembly, it is not as sturdy nor as stable as was described. There are a few design flaws The instructions for assembly need to be "tweaked". Use a good carpenter's wood glue with the dowel pegs and on the adjoining pieces. This means it will take longer to assemble as the glue will need to allowed to set. Attach the knee pad before you attach the metal braces that go under the kneeler board. This will hold the pad in place much better. The pedestal is a little too high, about an inch or so and the lip on the table is also a bit intrusive. When you fold up the kneeler, the stability and balance diminishes greatly. Considering the price, you get exactly what you paid for. It is workable, however, I may later have to rework it a bit.

On this product, it's not really a yes or no answer of. Would I recommend this for anybody? It looks beautiful in my apartment but in no way can you use this as a prayer bench. I was very disappointed. But it does look good.
