This a a nice heavy bag of just Sunflower hearts and chips. Today alone I've had cardinals, chickadees, titmouse, doves and even a woodpecker on a hanging platform feeder. What I don't have is a bunch of seeds and shells on the ground along with tons of ants and rat droppings. I'm sure some of the sunflower lands on the ground but not so much that the squirrel can't manage to clear the area below. i added a photo of the gross mess that the squirrel was digging through and another of the same squirrel looking bewildered by the drastic change. Don't worry, I rewarded the squirrel with a few peanuts in his own feeder. i also added a photo of the big bag and a dish of what's inside the bag. There was zero powder and zero bugs.

This brand has on the lable "hearts and chips": however, all are full sized hearts. No crunched up peices or dust. The bigger birds LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!! THIS IS VERY HIGH QUALITY FOOD. Most birds don't like crunched up pieces and dust.

Pure, Clean, whole sunflower seeds, with maybe 10% fragmented pieces...no moths or droppings. Birds, squirrels, rabbits all love these seeds. Arrived in supersonic speedy Walmart manner, vacuum sealed, less expensive than all the other seeds of same type. Very happy old bird feeder here!!!

Happy with the bird seed. Hoping to get many birds. I like that it won't grow sunflowers in my landscape. Speedy delivery as well.

it seems like the larger the package, the more broken up the sunflower kernels are. tons of dust as you pour. if you can afford buying the 5 pound bag, the birds multiply ten fold. they sure love the better quality. please understand here, its the same brand but the 5 pound bag is more to the birds liking. the 16 pound bag almost seems that this is swept off the floor after processing the 5 pound bags. more twigs and broken up heart pieces.

My song birds don't like it but the deer and roadrunners love it

The bags have a strange smell. It might be because they are packaged in a different country. The squirrels, doves and other wildlife that feed in my backyard refuge wouldn't eat these sunflower seeds! That is saying something if the critters won't eat them. One good thing is they are larger than any other sunflower chips/hearts that I have purchased before. I sent back 4 of 6 bags that I purchased.
