Great cover for the money

I have used this product before, but nothing will last in the gulf coast heat.

If you want really good protection and lasting quality and capability, then go with this 600 denier, no less. This is the second cover for my boat. The first cover lasted about three or four years, but probably would have lasted longer had it not been parked underneath trees with all the sap and debris from the trees. This time I also got one of the thicker, but inexpensive, tarps from Harbor Freight to cover the boat cover to protect the cover itself from the elements. That should make the boat cover last way longer, and it's way cheaper to buy an inexpensive tarp than a boat cover so often.

This is the second of these covers I have purchased, the first performed well for over a year and a half in the Florida sun and would still be in use had it not been for a heavy storm that damaged the cover with pooling water. Suggest buying or making supports to eliminate any areas that may pool water during a storm, it will help your cover last longer.

We are new to boating and the boat cover that came with our resale boat was thinning and began to rip..we looked at expensive ones online but decided to order from Walmart in case it didn't work it would be easy to return...not necessary..we were truly surprised at how dense and well made this cover is..if you are looking for this kind of tie-down cover I would recommend this one..

This cover fit our 1986 SeaRay 18.5' open bow like a glove. All the straps were present in the package, unlike some reviewers have noted. Pickup at the store was hassle free. This is the second or third cover we have purchased and have been pleased with all.

I have tried many boat covers in this price range for the past dozen years. Most covers in this price range have to be replaced every year after the North Texas summer heat followed by some winter ice. I have been able to get 2 or 3 summers (and winters) out of this specific one. Not great, but at least good.

I have had several of these covers over the years and typically they are good for 2 years use which is fine. On this cover some of the panels had a dark grey rubbery coating on the inside face. Within 3 months, this started to detach from the polyester in large sections and further deteriorated into small friable flakes that were deposited all over the inside of the boat. The grey polyester fabric is still fine, but the remains of the coating is continually shedding into the boat which has to be cleaned out and washed every time I go to use it. What a disappointment. It seems like they were short of the proper fabric, and just used what was close to hand to complete the cover

This was delivered in a plain brown shipping box and does not appear to be 600 denieir as advertised.I believe this was returned and then repackaged. i bought one previously for my other boat and it is alot heavier material and that came in a harbor master box with literature.
