Harbor Queen Bed with Upholstered Headboard, Blonde/Swiss Coffee

Bed looks exactly like the pic! We have ordered several pieces of furniture from Plank and Beam and this was by far the hardest to assemble. We wanted to downside from our king to a queen and love the size and look. The wood is soft so have to be careful not to dent.

We love the bed. The value for the money is excellent. It was shipped in a timely manner and securely packaged. Went together pretty easily and looks very nice in our new home.

This bed is solid no particle board here! I did add extra quilting padding to the headboard when I put it together, so there would be no line in the middle of the headboard. It would have been easier to put together with 2 people but manageable with on and few stacks of books to hold up the ends when finishing the final assembly. A great bead for the Price. Would definitely recommend if your on the fence.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The look is exactly like pictured with the exception that the headboard is wrapped material using Velcro to keep in place. However, its well made and soft to the touch. You cannot tell that its not one piece. The installation was tedious with mostly allen wrench application.

The blonde wood color is gorgeous and the bed is very sturdy. My only complaint is that the fabric does not cover the whole headboard. If the headboard came completely covered with the fabric, this bed would be 5 stars. I am afraid that over time the fabric will come undone since it's really only being held by Velcro.

We are happy with the overall look of the bed and the color of the finish is a great blonde without being too yellow. We did have some dark black streaks in our finish though. The quality overall is nice and we love that it is solid wood. We did have some alignment issues during assembly which was frustrating. Overall I would say we are happy with the bed, but if I could still return it I probably would just because it is very tall once you get a mattress on this bed frame. With the too tall of height and the frustration with assembly I probably would not purchase this bed again.

Cut bed frame but it was one of the most difficult pieces of furniture I have ever had to build. The headboard was very tricky due to the types of screws used and the instructions were a bit confusing.

It's a pretty bed and the materials of the frame are substantial and quality, but the legs that are supposed to support it under the middle of the bed just get diagonal all the time. Not sure what to do—taking back a part to return is not an option 🙈 that was a bit of work to build it.

While the final product looks nice, the assembly took hours and a lot of physical exertion (I have blisters on my hands). The screws did not line up easily with the holes and it required immense screwing and un screwing and re screwing to get it all together.

Extraordinary difficult to assemble. Poor poor design. This is coming from an engineer. Once actually assembled- 3 hours later- it's A decent bed. Rate a 5/10.
