Hard Candy Sheer Envy Hydrating Primer, Moisturizing

This is the best drug store primer I've used. I am 50 and have tried so many primers that work with my mature skin. I had my doubts, and even after i put it on, I thought I had made a big mistake. It goes on a bit sticky and tacky (hence grip) but it dries down nicely. My foundation looks fantastic and stays all day long. Now, since i have wrinkles and knowing there will be some settling in my lines, this really helps it not look like a road map. I highly suggest this primer.

I get super itchy from a lot of cosmetics and skin care products so I was careful to go over the ingredients thoroughly before I ordered, and I am pleased that this primer doesn’t irritate me at all AND it really works. I’ve tried it under tinted moisturizer, powder foundation, and liquid foundation. It is so humid down here so foundation is tricky, and I’ve had no slippage, melting, or separation in any foundation I’ve tried on this primer. It doesn’t stink (I’m very allergic to a lot of fragrance ingredients), it goes on like a dream, and it has just enough grab to hold onto makeup. This dupes the Milk primer 1:1 and does not roll up or bead on the skin like another brand that dupes the Milk primer.

OK hear me out!!!! First thing first. You must buy this item. For so many years i have been using matte primers... Such as Makeup forever step one and Becca pore less primer, which are known to be the holy grail of oil free primers and oily skin. My foundation was really bad when i would use these primers but i would really try and convince myself that they were working and there was nothing better out there. One day i was online and noticed that the MILK primer was getting a lot of exposure, i then seen this hard candy primer was known as a dupe. I was so not convinced because the word HYDRATING was throwing me off!!!! I thought, who in the heck would want to look greasy??!! OH MY GOD WAS I WRONG. MY MAKEUP STAYS ON MORE THAN THE CLAIMED 12 HOURS ON THE LABEL. It applies so beautiful with the Estee Lauder Double wear. This is my actual and true holy grail :)

Its an amazing primer it kept my foundation in place all day. On Sundays I first apply my makeup at 7:30AM and I do not take it off until 9:45-10:00PM and this primer really helps my makeup stay on even with me wearing my mask all day. Usually the foundation breaks up around my nose where Im most oily but this primer helped so that I was just a little bit oily there. And you do not need a lot!

I love this Primer, because it is a dupe for the "M" brand sold at Sephora. It's even green like that brand, but much more reasonably priced. I use this under Foundation, and it stays put until I remove it at the end of the night!

Perfect. Definately does as it says. No pore filling or anything but really great plumper, and perfect shine. Definately grips makeup for all day no cakey set. SO good.

My goodness one of the best primers I have ever put on my skin. Honestly I feel that kind of mattifies my hydrating foundation but in a nice way, it blurs pores and its like a magnet to the foundation, less lines from wearing a mask. I have normal dry skin but my oil gals should try this beautiful primer. And for the price it is a keeper.I pray they do not discontinue this holly grail, in love <3 <3

Love that it does what it claims to do. My skin has not shown any signs of dryness now that winter is starting and my makeup looks flawless and lasts longer. I use it over my sunscreen/moisturizer combo and it is perfect.

I bought this because some friends convinced me that I needed this. I was really hesitant on buying it because I have hated pretty much every Hard Candy product that isn’t nail polish. (For those who don’t know Hard Candy used to be a high end brand that pretty much sold nail polish) With all of that said, this stuff is awesome. I have combo oily skin and it works great for me. As much as most drugstore brands have stepped up their game, I hope Hard Candy does as well.

have not used it yet. I bought it by mistake. I was trying to by the matte finish one, which I am currently using. I am sure this works great too.
